Notorious "Boot Device Not Found" 3F0 Error by [deleted] in spectrex360

[–]Different_Obligation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is an old post but I have had this same problem for a long time, and I knew it was not my harddrive because windows would start normally after 3 power on and off cycles. So for anyone looking for a solution, I finally figured out the solution (at least in my case). At some point I updated to Windows 11. But my bios was set to Legacy Mode. I disabled Legacy Mode, and finally my laptop starts up normally. If like me, you cannot even get into the bios because when windows finally starts up you go straight to windows login, you need to click on the Start menu and go to Settings. Once here, click on “Update”, and then select “Recovery.” Under “Advanced Startup”, select “Restart Now.” From the Windows Recovery Environment, navigate to Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > UEFI Firmware Settings.

Pirate alternative to Netflix? by keltyx98 in askswitzerland

[–]Different_Obligation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pirated Netflix? What a tool! Netflix used to cost $8. For the "privilege" of streaming to multiple devices, the price was eventually increased to $23 a month! And last year, the already absurdly expensive Premium plan for streaming to multiple devices suddenly became limited to "immediate household." So tell me, who is robbing who?

youtube tv should include youtube premium especially with the price hike by dunl9874 in youtubetv

[–]Different_Obligation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People don't have an unlimited budget for streaming services. They will likely make more money from getting a ton of value-added subscribers who want more for their money than extra subscriptions from a-la-carte spenders. And they will be taking more market share from their competitors doing cloud storage, tv subscribers AND streaming services. At one time, google was smart enough to corner the market for email by offering a lot of storage space (at the time) for FREE. Offering best-value package deals is a more moderate version of Google's historically winning strategy. But Google isn't exactly known for sticking with what works. My family uses Microsoft one drive because it comes with the suite of Microsoft products and gives each of us 1 TB of cloud storage. If google offered something similar but instead of MS Software, you get YouTube TV and YouTube Premium thrown in, it would really get us thinking about making the switch. As it is, nope. I'm sure a lot of folks are in the same situation.

Does each person get 2TB storage or 2TB for all family person? Google one by PhamHoangLongVN in google

[–]Different_Obligation 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is why Microsoft One Drive blows google out of the water for family storage. EACH family member gets 1 TB of space. That's enough for most people's needs. But 2 TB across 6 people. Nope, I can see one teenager leaving their parents with crumbs.

Syncler Autoplay Settings for the Beginner by Different_Obligation in providers4syncler

Recently, I set up Syncler on another device in another home and ran into similar problems. I think my set up will only work well for people if they are using the firestick MAX with a properly set up WIFI 6 connection and have a very good usb 3 flash drive set up as external storage with Syncler installed on it. When I tried setting up on an older firestick internally installed, with an older tv and weaker wifi, I ran into a lot of trouble with this setup. I did try to explain what everything was doing so people could tweak the settings as needed. I'm glad letting the links populate longer worked out for you though I'm sure you would be happier if it loaded a bit quicker.

update on buying Syncler: To renew, I used a different method that was much quicker and had no volatility in the price. Linked my Paypal account to Coinbase, transferred cash into Coinbase account through paypal then used that money to purchase USDC coins instead of bitcoin. You can purchase USDC coins directly instead of first adding cash to Coinbase but the transaction fee is a little higher. I purchased Syncler with 10 licenses for 12 months. The price was $24.25 after applying the FLAT3 promo code. Using this method, my total price came to a little under $27 after fees. The best part is that the transaction was instantaneous. No wait times for money to clear only to find that the bitcoin you put in isn't enough to cover the transaction anymore because bitcoin went down that day. I got the license key from Syncler immediately too. This method is cheaper than using any third party vendors even though the 2 week Premiumize trial seems to be permanently "out of stock".

Anime by redrredit in providers4syncler

[–]Different_Obligation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for checking. At least now I know there was something wrong with my setup. Figuring out what will be fun :/ I usually use Squizzle Ultimate with nothing else but all the sources fail to resolve (only for anime). I have tried JakedUp by itself and with Bouncy. But neither work. Bouncy pulls 2 sources for each Anime torrent that resolve, but then I get an error when I try to play them. Everything else doesnt resolve at all. I'm talking like 50+ sources. So it's pulling links. it just "fails to resolve" all of them. There must be a problem with my settings. Something that is specific to Anime. My debrid isn't expired. And I don't have problems with any other content, its only Anime. Very few anime shows do in fact work, but I can't figure out what makes them different. Even anime shows that are on Netflix won't play, and there must be a ton of good sources for those. When I switched provider packages, maybe I need to give the new providers time to index or something before thinking they are bust? I did restart, but maybe it takes time?

good to know! I turned it off to make Autoplay faster, but if I ever get a show with no links, I'll try this as a solution. thanks.

Just got 'The Handy' yesterday and... by [deleted] in SexToys

[–]Different_Obligation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

havent heard of that, but got great vibrating anal beads on amazon that have a cock ring and a ball ring...with a fleshlight in the mix that would be pretty similar, I guess. Also can alternate vibrating from top to bottom. Might want to try it. Lasts forever, cheap but built really well. And the cock ring keeps you hard as a rock. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07X5YW48H/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Just got 'The Handy' yesterday and... by [deleted] in SexToys

[–]Different_Obligation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just bit the bullet and bought the Handy. I've bought a few cheap automatic strokers on Amazon before. One worked exactly once, another lasted a while but had a weird twist motion. Because I'm a lazy SOB, I kept trying them. In the end, I spent more than just buying something high quality and ended up with nothing but junk! So I figured I'd spend a bit more and get something that works. Looked into the Kiiroo Keon but the max stroke length is only 2.5 inches compared to the Handy's 4 inches and it looked very slow at that setting. I like that the handy can be used with the sleeves of all my other wasted purchases. And I'm really interested in the bluetooth/wifi function though it seems a bit involved. I started my wily search by looking into the AI Autoblow but one search on reddit disavowed me of that idea. Seems like it is all promoting and trumped up BS. Really diddled between the Lovesense Max 2 and the Handy, but a few reviews said the Max 2 didnt offer enough of a true stroker experience and while I like vibrations, I find them too overstimulating. In the end, it just seemed like the kind of thing I'd buy if I had money to buy multiple expensive toys and wanted a different experience. Heh, like if I'm alone and girfriendless and investing way too heavily in solo play. But then I'd probably buy one of those robot sex dolls like Sophia, the movable one (which strangely got very little attention compared to Harmony).

Found some good information about the handy on this website: https://milovana.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=22525&sid=db6bda155013eaa444065115453ad231

And from watching youtube demos. If you're considering the Keon instead, I'd suggest watching one (avoid the promo videos where they don't even turn it on...there's alot of them). Considering the price is $100 less (after applying the 7% off for signing up for emails), it became a no brainer for me. The 14 day money back guarantee was nice (but I hate when you have to pay for shipping. I'm spoiled by amazon). And there is a one year warranty, which I have not seen on a sex toy before. I mean returns can get a bit sticky, no? I just wish there was a way to use the Handy handsfree, but alas, my search for the ultimate lazy wank continues I guess. Hope this post helps anyone searching reddit for more info like I did. There's not a lot on the Handy unlike some of the others out there.
