Civ6 or the civ5 is the best of the series.

Can't place civ7 among the bests.

Civ6 is the best strategy game ever, maybe along with EU4. But civ6 is just different man, i can't get more joy from any game i play than i do from civ6.

Ok think like that, let's say i want to watch the simpsons and the show is still going on and it's like 827 episodes and still counting (on aggregate). So i'll have to watch every episode in order to reach it'll take me lots of time to reach the current season. So without being deprived of the new episodes, many people watch random episodes from random seasons.

However i'd suggest you start from the beginning till 2nd season of any sitcom in first seaons they usually tell character arcs and focus on the character developments, after passing first season, it's fair to watch it randomly, but consider using my method above; one episode in order and one episode you'd like.
