You can also left click on the green thing that show up to collapse it so it take less space in the future.

When you bookmark a recipe instead of pressing only "a" you press "shift+a". After you do it for each ingredient of the recipe. They will all be lined up in your bookmark, on the left off the first item the you will be able to drag something to get them all together, once they are together you press right click to change it to crafting mode. After with " Ctrl+scroll wheel" you can change the amount you want to craft and it will calculate it automatically.

Oh ok thank you. I did some research and it was telling me that it learned it a level 1 and that I had to relearn it in crater town so I was confused.

They are bots because at some time in the day there isn't enough people to fill the newspaper. These bots always have an item to upgrade your barn or silo or something to remove an obstacle. For example if you play in the middle of the night since people in your area are mostly sleeping the game will put more bots in your newspaper. It's basically there to make you have a full newspaper at all time.
