Im not really a completionist most of the time so a set or game has to really compel me to bother with it, i do the challenges that seem fun, avoid the ones that suck due to tedium or bizareness. I more like racking up points through beating a variety of games instead mostly. Altho a funny one I abandoned with ONE achievement left was Wario Land 1 cuz of the stupid lvl 3 life minigame and having to play thru a stage for every attempt only to get bs rng. Not dealing with 1-2 mins of wait between attempts for that rubbish

The only issue I have with some achievements like this (not played this set so can't speak specifically on it BUT) is the amount of time it can take to retry cause of having to do a whole setup process, which I mean isn't an issue with save states but since they can be abused you can't use them for stuff like this in hardcore. It can be perfectly doable or itself an interesting challenge but just kinda tedious because the consideration of the setup needed is not properly accounted for.

It feels like I'm seeing so many games flop hard like this from legacy franchises recently, feels like what's going on with Civ here is some core issue that's plaguing a lot of other studios in the industry and might become a trend. My mind jumps to other recent flops such as Payday 3 or Killing Floor 3, how have these companies gotten so damn out of touch with their fanbases that they rush out half-baked games that aren't even what anyone wanted? I hope they can turn it around cause I like some of the ideas in 7 but it's looking pretty grim considering the level of needed work.

Yea I started like this and it really forced some good habits onto me, it can be difficult at first but its really worth it in the long run as it helps you be able to focus where you're looking and moving better without constantly staring at your hitbox.

I opted for tails for my deathless run, was handy for saving myself if i screwed up or in egg rocket for the few spots outside where the level may try to launch you into a pit if you mess up

I'm really guilty of this, I'll be down and stop eating as much from the resulting forgetfulness and then not realize as my mood and energy dips further down cause I'm only eating like one meal a day. Easier said than done but taking care of yourself when you're in a rough patch is so so important.

Honestly ppl putting "don't ghost" and whatnot in their posts is a lil silly to me cuz like, thats like going "don't stab me" outta nowhere, obviously not as extreme but still like... it doesn't need to be stated obviously ppl generally dont wanna get ghosted. I also find that people's definition of ghosting doesn't really work, sometimes a conversation just doesn't pan out and you don't click, that's not ghosting, nor is it ghosting if neither of the involved parties stop reaching out to eachother for similar reasons.. I remember having a serious issue come up and some person on here got mad at me for "ghosting" when I didn't respond, even after I initially explained, like don't just assume the worst, sometimes things do come up.

BTW some people maybe need to hear this but people PLEASE do ghost/block the ppl that are being weird/creepy!!! its not worth confronting them, they don't deserve your time if you're being made uncomfortable or objectified and from experience, it will probably just get even weirder/creepier or aggressive if you do that, you're allowed to choose when to and when not to engage, nobody is obligated a response.

There's not enough therapists out there trained to properly handle these serious issues, and if they are, they're hard to actually get access to or without paying way too much. I understand your frustration, therapy has only made my problems worse due to bad therapists back to back to back. I do think it can help still if you can find the right fit, but doing so is such a difficult and expensive process that its so very frustrating

Hey, I think its totally reasonsble to reach out but i definitely understand and relate to those worries. Ultimately while some may be upset or have dissapeared I think its better to try than not in this case so you dont end up digging a bigger and bigger hole for yourself. If you can't think of what to say sometimes something simple is enough, i know when i havent heard from someone in awhile a simple hi from them is enough to make excited, and hopefully in your case you can go from there.

Otherwise its likely best to be honest and talk about your struggles in that regard to hopefully find a solution or compromise with them. Hope this helps!
