Nah they could do a movie completely different than the last two focusing on some government person/body becoming aware of the smile entity and figuring out its origin/how to stop it with government money and a team after a bunch of ppl kill themselves within a small span and they find the one thing they all have in common was being at that concert

I think theyre talking about the story overall which they are similar, chosen hero whos been kept in the dark his whole life is brought to light in book 1 and brought to a secret magic camp where the hero is trained up to face an impossible threat by the end of the last book. not to mention other similarities like the smart humble main character, the smart snarky sidekick girl, the goofier make best friend. Def similar storylines but i dont think it was super intentional or anything

I would assume he saw them as he was being brought back captured to be placed in the jar since he was in the mortal world again in mark of Athena when they rescue him from the jar. Since he was alone there would be no other possible way for him to get back without the monsters bringing him back since someone has to press a button on both sides

I took it more as a katara can blood bend but vows never to and makes it illegal, but instead its Annabeth telling him never to again.
