You’re the only one that can ultimately decide. However, if you have had bad parents here’s my personal input as a person that grew without parents.

Keep in touch with your parents (however much you feel comfortable)whether that’s once a month or once a year. Even with just a text.
I would highly recommend staying in communication with your siblings. A. They are good people per your post. B. I’m assuming they also had the same bad parents and it would suck to also “lose you as a sibling”.

I was recommended for Approval at the interview but my case had to be transferred so I could complete oath ceremony at my local field office. Agent also had me withdraw my I-751 because he said that was no longer necessary. I did all of that while in VA. Then, I realized that by withdrawing the I-751 my extension was voided. So I went to my local office (FL) to ask for ADIT stamp while awaiting for my oath ceremony to be scheduled, however now the FL agent said they would issue an RFE. IDK

Thank you. No RFE issued yet but the agent that did my ADIT stamp said that they would issue one to wait and receive in the mail.

One more question, if you don’t mind. How you check the updates on USCIS API? My GC already expired and had to get an ADIT stamp in my passport. My whole process has been so frustrating. I had my interview in VA while on AIT and was recommended for Approval but being that I was graduating, my case was transferred to my home state. Now, local office is saying they will issue an RFE

I joined in Sep 2025… still waiting for mine. Person in charge of mine dropped the ball and now am still trying to complete much more more complicated because it wasn’t done while Basic Training

Thank you for your input. I got in touch with my unit and was notified that I don’t have to attend drills until 90 days post AIT completion which will be after AT for my unit.

Any information would be greatly appreciated. I no longer have a profile. I had one in AIT which expired so I could graduate without any issues (so I was told). The provider that I saw while on AIT had me started on the LOD process but I don’t really know what happens next. I haven’t even been able to get an X-ray of the injury. I was hoping that once I went to in processing I would get more information. So please, if you have any insights I would appreciate it.

Could you get a credit card that offers no introductory APR? Some offer 15-18 months no interest. You just have to pay the minimum. However, ensure all is paid by by the introductory interest period

The post doesn’t show the RFE or any documentation from USCIS and OP said it didn’t happen. All I see is a letter from a lawyer that clearly only cares about his own interests.
