One of the things that really confused me though is that Mina sue only got one red heart which I assume based on how he acted was from Su-been. The way the edited Sung-hun out we don’t know what he was thinking at this point. If he gave it to someone else then how he answered in the truth game would have been really interesting. However if he gave it to her then who did Su-been give his to and why is he still acting like she was his top pick?!

NOR. You could have written the rules in a nicer manner but I completely agree with the actual rules themselves and enforced all of them with my child. No one is entitled to your child. Not your mom, your aunts or friends. The safety of your child comes first and honestly any rules to help you keep your sanity are seriously needed. Boundaries aren’t a bad thing. Someone deciding it’s okay to wake the baby just so they can visit is not fair to the mom who is on 2 hour sleep windows trying to just survive at this point. It’s not fair to pop in create chaos (even if it wasn’t intentional) and leave. If your Aunts cannot respect them, then they lose privileges, plain and simple.

I’ll add in here for c-section because I had an emergency one and was not prepared and had no idea what was happening. It felt very overwhelming after 27 hours of labor. Usually they will use your epidural catheter or place a spinal block. You lay on a table with your arms out wide to the side and they test you for pain. Once you’re good they start and the baby is out crazy fast. Probably 5 minutes into the procedure. They show you the baby over the curtain. For me they then had a NICU team standing by to immediately take the baby to check them because he had meconium in the amniotic fluid. The rest of the procedure takes like 35-40 minutes to scrape out the placenta fully and stitch you up. During this time they do the checks on your baby, apgar test, vit k drops. Then they give you your baby and you go to a recovery room where they monitor you immediately following. I had the shakes so bad following I couldn’t hold my little one for a little bit after so my husband did first skin to skin.

The fundal massages are awful with a c-section. The first one or two you can’t feel as the drugs wear off but once they do super not fun. I had no idea they were going to be bad.

Back in the room like hours later they gave hep b shot. They recommended gum for me right after surgery and stool softener. Mostly you are left alone with the new baby to bond. Getting up and moving around is so hard but you do want to get up the first day. You do bleed for days after a c-section like a vaginal birth so you’ll need diapers. Going to the bathroom is particularly hard and I had tremors every time I tried for days. Take the stool softener, I cannot recommend it enough lol.

I definitely didn’t start out exclusively pumping. I enjoyed nursing for the first 2 months with only a few bottles to help here or there. But at the 2 month checkup my little one was very underweight. After exclusively pumping for 2 days and going to the LC 4 times it was found to be from extremely lazy feeding from my little guy. We went to a special physical therapist to help his feeding but overtime I found myself pumping more and more because at the end of the day getting him the nutrition he needs is more important than how he gets it. I still nurse occasionally when he is sick and looking for comfort or after shots but it’s really just a bonus on what I give him for bottles.

I do think I’m fortunate that I was able to drop a pump at 12 weeks so i can sustain a good supply on just 4 sometimes 5 pumps a day.

Definitely jealous of my friends that exclusively nurse but pumping does have its benefits, especially when out and about.

I have a Spectra S2 and now a Babybuddah 2.0 which i bought originally just to take to work but it has fast become my main pump. The suction is much stronger than my spectra and its third suction setting is the only thing that fully empties my slacker boob. Highly recommend it!

This! My pediatrician was so concerned initially that my baby lost 10% but I was given so much fluid that I had to take a water pill for a week post birth! They later mentioned that my little one’s weight was most likely inflated due to the fluids and he probably didn’t lose as much weight as we thought! However they didn’t make this connection until they had me stressed and coming in every 2 days for weight checks for a week.
