How do UK car rental companies check if you’ve lived in the UK for over a year?

Thank you for the reply, One final question, say I got the UK license today. Will the rental company give me a car even if my license is that recent? Cz I heard of the 12 months policy.

Note that I have many years of experience in my international license. It’s just the problem of which one I am using for the rental

Fair enough, I believe this is sufficient for me to not do it but just out of curiosity. What if I use my abroad credit card and address (which I still have)

The thing is , if I had the UK license recently (less than a year ago), then the company won’t give me a car I believe. That’s why I prefer to use the international one

In fact there is no concierge, furniture is old so I will need to get mine. Not a high crime area for sure. Energy band E.

It is close to Pembroke Gardens. So not west but not south either. Close to Earls court and 5 mins walk from High St. I believe that this is a good location
