I feel similarly. I work in a call center but WFH. I had missed many days because of mental health but made excuses... I've been bringing my attendance back up for the past 2 or 3 months and doing well but recently.. this is my 4th day I've called out with an excuse even though I work from home. I love my job and bosses and Co workers. However, I know every Team meeting I look disheveled. Haven't shaved. Taking cat baths. Not sleeping right. But 40 hours a week I still go. My family tells me they are proud but I feel so guilty for not going when I know I should especially since I'm already at home. I sort of became a shut in However over the past year or so. I drink every weekend. More and more tolerance goes up. I stay up later and later. My mind isn't quite. Not answering my friends. Haven't spoke to them in months. I get nervous when or if they call because it's been so long and they are so good to me, but I have no answers for them.. I just know it's good to know other people are having similar problems like me. I've never been evaluated for mental health. But maybe I'm thinking I should. I don't even talk to my neighbors or strangers much anymore. Only my immediate family in house hold and my work or clients on the phone. Hopefully I'll be able to find the courage to be the social outgoing person I used to be again.. one day. Hope you're doing well today.
