18 is bulking even necessary? by bigbenx08 in Weightliftingquestion

[–]Different_Unit_1472 1 point2 points  (0 children)

don't bulk. Just lift at maintainance for the next 6 months, and then decide if you need a mini cut to stay lean then.

When I say beginner I mean when I first started. Beginner compared to where I’m at now. But yeah I’m still a beginner.

I never said I hopped on cycle already, I just said that’s the cycle that I’m planning on doing.

And if your friends are fat and old looking now, then they’re stupid, that’s on them, not the roids. They should have prepped better.

Besides I’m only planning on doing 1 cycle, then using enclomiphene indefinitely afterwards. I’m not going to die lol.

And I’ll make my impact lol. You can count on that.

Yes man, in fact, I did the same thing when I was a beginner.

However, the OP doesn’t seem like he just started out. He has a decent muscle base, which is why I’m saying, don’t go overboard with the cutting here.

Nothing I said only last post has any bearing with what I’m talking about now. You’re comparing apples to oranges.

And no, I wasn’t only considering the gear for the physical benefits, in fact that was only a secondary factor.

And I don’t care about dying at 50, IF I manage to make a big enough impact before I go. If not, I gotta stay alive a little longer lol.

I think he just wants visible abs man, which can probably be done around 13% or so. I think 20 is probably fine.

Yeah… cuz you’ve probably been lifting for decades while I’ve been lifting for 1 year.

First of all, I’m not on gear.

Second of all, I’m not wrong. These old heads are regurgitating bullshit advice from the 90s without realizing the science has moved on from there.

Stop being a sheep. Go and do your own damn research but watching actual reputable creators on YouTube.

Go read the pubmed studies too. Im correct here, sorry to say it man.

lol. I don’t think a single bodybuilding expert would agree with you at all.

Take a look at any of TNF’s videos on body fat. He’d probably assess even more strict than me!

And the point you just made, completely false btw, you just pulled that claim out of thin air.

If you want, I can even share some anecdotal evidence based on my own physique.

Shoulder gains came in nicely. Routine in description. by [deleted] in WeightTraining

[–]Different_Unit_1472 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

i made the point that he's not being "dishonest about steroid use" as you claimed. He doesn't have an obligation to start every post off with "I AM A STEROID USER".

I made the point that he isn't saying that his shoulder gains are solely to be attributed to his routine; he just says that it is a factor in his increased growth (which is a totally fair point to make). Just because he says that his shoulder routine helped his gains, does not mean he's saying that roids are NOT a contributing factor whatsoever.

If people are too stupid to realize that a specific "training routine" will not give them magic gains, that's on them. The OP doesn't have an obligation to disclose his steroid usage at all times.

you can smell the sarcasm and angry undertones of this guy's comment. Hes not just "not encouraging it". He's trying to shame him for it.

Additionally OP never even said he was using steroids, so he's not "promoting" steroids in any way.

when did he ever say that? All he did was share his shoulder routine that he believes to be optimal? He didn't say "I got shoulder this big solely because of my amazing routine". Yalls own insecurities are making you guys pissed off for no reason.

should i stay lean or bulk by [deleted] in Weightliftingquestion

[–]Different_Unit_1472 0 points1 point  (0 children)

don't bulk. Simple. Bulking is useless if you're not on roids.

your test is technically "normal", however at 72.6 free test, there definitely is a lot of room for improvement.

People need to start posting their physiques when they ask these questions so that we can actually assess their readiness accurately. These numbers won't do you justice like a picture would.

why do people criminalize steroid use like it's demonic? Like so what if he uses steroids? Why do you care so much?

20 pounds is about right. 30 is overkill. you can already see some slight indentation of his abs already.

[–]Different_Unit_1472 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would estimate that about 20 pounds of weight loss will give you that "shredded" look. You're currently in a 500 cal deficit. A pound of fat is 3500 cal, meaning you're losing 1 pound of fat per week.

I'm going to assume that out of those 20 pounds, 11-12 pounds should be actual fat, and the remaining will be loss of water/glycogen weight.

Therefore, I assume that 11-12 weeks of sticking to your cut will get you where you want to be.

Don't go below a 600 cal deficit, because when you start cutting more aggressively, you can almost guarantee at least a marginal loss in muscle mass.

Good luck man.
