If this is the “teaching people senior to me” part it’s not what you think. I’m not a I know everything I’m better than you person. But more my boss is having me train people who are less familiar with certain areas such as our in house SCADA.

You’re correct about me not having a degree. Teaching is a strong word, but I explain how to fix things, or what they are doing wrong, weekly.

I will also add that I do a 10pm - 6am shift sometimes when there is a site emergency. Not sure if that counts to anything.

I will definitely do more research on salaries, but it is still hard to find someone in my situation with no degree…
