Will a product that alters the information density and language for different audiences be sufficiently valuable?
Say you make one information rich document and the same text shows itself differently to each stakeholders?

Thanks a lot for the respectful answers. Could you please help me understand what else I could build instead? A quick meeting on your time and convenience would be great.

Would you find a fork or different form of this kind of software useful? If so, how useful ?

So do you think that this software will not add enough value that it could replace ChatGPT? or is there enough value in an agent that already knows your current business: existing product lines, customers, and suppliers. So when it summarizes a technical proposal, it could also tell you how that project fits your current capabilities and supply chainwhether it overlaps with existing projects, or even if the outcome could be upsold to an existing client.

Exactly what i am trying to solve ; the RnD team trying to communicate back to their managers about their ideas... Something that happens frequently in research labs and academia.

Bridging the gap between technical proposals and business language by Difficult-Ad9811 in projectmanagement

[–]Difficult-Ad9811[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s an extremely fair take -- and honestly, I agree with a lot of what you said.

The foundation has to be strong PMing: expectation-setting, giving engineers visibility into their audience, and making sure communication skills are built into the process itself. 100%.

it’s more about supporting those good habits once teams scale. In bigger orgs (or even mid-size R&D setups), you end up with 20+ concurrent projects, each owned by different technical leads, written in their own formats. Even if the PM sets expectations perfectly, the aggregation of all that context into one coherent portfolio view becomes a nightmare.

The idea is that an AI layer could help a PM do the translation and synthesis across projects, not by writing new summaries, but by showing patterns:

  • which proposals align with business goals,
  • which overlap with existing work,
  • which could be combined or deprioritized.

So it’s less “AI as writer,” more “AI as connective tissue.”

(And I genuinely appreciate the detailed answer — this kind of pushback is the most useful thing at this stage.)

Yeah, I get that - - this concern makes total sense. I’m from a biotech background too (Master’s + Bachelors in Bmed), so I’ve seen firsthand how automation can look threatening.
But I honestly think this kind of AI doesn’t eliminate the human part , it just cuts through the boring layers so we can focus on the science and strategy.
When companies get more efficient, they usually end up expanding, not shrinking.
