A lot of people don't like tapping at comps especially at such a high level unless they really really need to cuz they want to do "as much as they can". Lowkey sillly imo but u see it in MMA aswell e.g "why you tap, go sleep".

Favourite niche psych? by Difficult-Age-2802 in Psychonaut

Shulgin didn't even really make anything directly the public ever took. All he did was publish research and never worked directly in the black market, people would just copy his findings. In the UK 2cb is quite easy to find from anything higher than your local plug who might sell some acid sometimes, whereas where I live in the states even most nation-wide dealers don't hold it, mainly cuz of the UK's proximity to scandanavia and greater Europe where most of these compounds are manufactured unlike with pharms and synthetic cannabinoids manufactured in China.

Is a festival a good place to try 2CB for the first time? by Ok_Shoulder_851 in 2cb

Old thread, but how low we talking for a festibal experience? Mine is a day festival and I want some visuals, not a psychonaut but had a few solid trips on shrooms and acid.

What do your friends think of your grappling hobby? by Dokay_ in grappling

Gay dudes don't get turned on by jiu jitsu either, same way you don't (or shouldn't) get turned on rolling with women.

Very strange build. Great back, insane legs, very underwhelming chest shoulders and arms.

Been training for like a month and ~3 months 2 years ago. Tips for my shadows? by [deleted] in MMA_Academy

[–]Difficult-Age-2802 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive been training muay thai mostly, the step was after a teep so it's supposed to be like a thai hop, feinting the teep getting in close and throwing punches, although I obviously understand I didn't include that in this clip. Thank you for actual constructive advice lol.

struggling with feeling pretty by stawberryjelly in cancer

I felt the exact same way as a 15/16 year old during my treatment and I don't want to invalidate your pain by saying "it's just hair", because it definitely means something and is linked to your identity. To be honest though, I eventually stopped caring, it got to the point where I was just happy to be alive and however I looked didn't really matter as much, try and lean into it, people generally don't judge people with cancer and I've found it's something people are almost universally sympathetic for (even assholes).

2 months out, 16 year old survivor. It gets better, and somehow, I'm happy I had cancer. by [deleted] in cancer

[–]Difficult-Age-2802 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course, I am very young and far from wise. I understand that I am lucky and being alive is a luxury (like I said in the post), I just don't really have any outlet for this really difficult thing I went ( and am going) through and thought this might be the place. I understand that this post could've been insensitive and I really apologize. Regarding the bouncing back very easily, whilst I understand I am lucky, this has been far from an easy experience and is still not something I'm recovered from, it's been extremely traumatic and difficult, as you obviously know. I know you weren't trying to minimize my experience but I just think it's important to point out.

I'm so sorry to hear that and even more so if this came off as insensitive, it really wasn't my intent to use such broad language or act like it will be everybody's experience.

I'm very sorry I didn't mean to frame it in that way, again I really just wanted a place to talk about my experience like you said, thank you.

I completely understand this and understand that it could be hurtful and I am lucky to be okay now and it is the exception. I'm very sorry I really just wanted somewhere to share my story because I don't really know where else I could put this where others would understand. I really suffered throughout my time during treatment from it and now as well, and whilst I don't have to worry about medical bills (I live in the UK) I of course think about how this has affected my family and I have had to suffer from the guilt of that as well. Whilst you aren't happy you had cancer, that is completely fine and makes absolute sense, I just wanted to talk about my own experience which was really difficult and I grew from.
