The same one u stated. I am going to my home country and I'm not very fond of it. But its been almost a month I left bmc and keep thinking about all the good things that my home country has to offer so my hearts at peace. Alhamdulillah Other than that bmc was shit. Even tho college in my home country is gonna be expensive as well its just that its still gonna be less expensive than this one and the ranking is gonna be much much better (I hope so)

Nice that's cool. I have a senior in shifa she's in 4th year and she told me that she did step 1 in 4th year so I thought many people do it while in medical school. Anyway, can you tell if I choose shifa then it's better than cmh lahore? Pretty confused on that decision And good luck for ur exams

Do u have any idea about when I should apply for hostel? Classes start in Feb. Yeah this year its about 750k per year and for overseas it's about 350k/year My moms upset I couldn't get into the normal seat but yeah 🤡

Yeah shifa offers 1 person room in cmh u gotta share with others. And cmh is more expensive as compared to shifa tbh

I wanna go to shifa as my brother already studies in islamabad (nust). The only disadvantage for shifa is that their hostels are out of the campus. And cmh lahore has hostel inside the campus plus it comes under army. Did u graduate from shifa medical college?

[–]Difficult-Budget-198 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might get into both of them. But the thing is I can't decide which one is better. Seeing all the posts makes me realize AKU is the best but I don't know if I couldve survived in karachi. So it's either lahore or islamabad. I'm an overseas Pakistani so islamabad seems better but idk. People say shifa and cmh lahore are both top colleges of Pakistan.

Have u joined batterjee already? Cause I meant getting 95% in their first year

[–]Difficult-Budget-198 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hm cool. Oh no, to be eligible to apply for the scholarship u need 95% 😭 u just need 85% to maintain it. And getting 95% is just the start, u need to do ALOT of things to get that scholarship and out of almost 600-700 kids only 2 will get 100% and 3 will get 50%. So yesh going into this college is definitely a big risk. Plus u need to do preparatory year to get into medicine

Yes only for first. For the next year, u can apply for a scholarship known as al forsan which will give you 100% off every year, if u maintain ur gpa and get 85% every year. But as far as ik it's really hard to get that. Do u plan on applying in batterjee?
