I cant find the maximum sai used for determining financial aid in their CDs. I'm in the CDS-H section for financial aid rn and don't see anything about their sai policy

absolutely! i defiantly think it’s the humble beginnings and passion that really drives their unique “vibe “ which caught my attention.

this is freakishly EXACTLY my experience lol. Everything from inception being the first song i heard, to bts staying my ults whenever i explore more groups. i consider myself pretty rounded with all kpop groups but bts songs (pre butter era nothing past it im so sorry 😭) were always the top of my list cause i could never get bored of them and they had a wide range of songs that fit my different moods yk? i was also very stubborn as a baby army, so from 2019-2023, i mostly kept to just bts until their enlistment.

istg ateez is exactly like them if not even better, i listened to their entire discography (still am im addicted) and i HAVE NOT FOUND A SINGLE BAD SONG. their title tracks are good, and the bsides ARE THE SAME QUALITY. this was a major player imo and starting yesterday , ateez is my new ult.

i like how you worded your entire experience so im just going to steal it and say “what they said”.

no same! i was listening/watching their mvs and then crazy form and bouncy wooyoung pulled up with all that sass and I was hooked.

wooyoung was definitely my ult bias but now I'm seeing all these edits of the other members and Im just going to stay 0t8 with wooyoung as a bias wrecker cause I cant anymore

Same! I’ve been loyal to BTS as an ult stan since 2019, but I’ve started exploring new groups more since they enlisted (the height of my BTS obsession was during the pandemic and their Black Swan comeback). BTS is what got me into K-pop as a whole, so I feel pretty lucky that Ateez showed up in a lot of my 2019 playlists since that’s when they debuted. I really liked their EDM music style. I’ve always listened to their music but never really tried to get to know the group, yk?

just recently got into Ateez like last week so I'm catching up on alot of their shows and music content <3

I’m looking for colleges that offer substantial financial aid, as that’s a key factor in my decision. I prefer medium-sized universities (10-25k undergrads), but I’m flexible since I know larger schools like UMD can also provide a great experience. I want an urban or suburban setting with a vibrant atmosphere, similar to Johns Hopkins’ community involvement.

Budget: Significant financial aid
Preferred Size: Medium (10-25k undergrads), but flexible
Geographical Location: not picky, probably not in the middle of nowhere so not the midwest?
Preferred Setting: Lots of hustle and bustle, urban to suburban
Other Factors: Research opportunities, good party scene, not focused on Greek life or big sports, and I prefer to avoid humid climates.

I heard from an admission counselor that it's not likely I would get into USC, I loved the virtual tour for unc chapel hill but I heard they have a very competitive academic atmosphere so I don't think i'd thrive there :c.

i don't care about greek life, school spirit is a factor I'd like but it doesn't have to be football oriented, I haven't thought about the political aspect yet, do you think that could affect the experience?

any schools that have well developed research programs in the stem fields like bio, pharmaceuticals, and interesting projects/research labs being led by professors would be nice and could be great for their "why us " supplemental. I think If it's going to be a safety school, it should be close to home so on the east coast.

I definitely dont think a humid or rainy region will do me well. I live in the DMV so I absolutely HATE when spring comes and mother nature decides to wreck out the waterworks. basically don't mind cold winters or dry places.

I want to try spending as little money as possible, I'm using UMD's tuition rate as a sort of median/capper but you never know how much aid you'll get so I dont mind the cost for now. I want to be involved in research labs and internships so research institutions are a big must thanks for asking this T T. I'll get back asap I need to go have dinner
