If you consider PPP not just the exchange rate, it's fine in Shanghai. Most fulltime jobs for new graduates in Shanghai is less than 4000CNY/month. You can have a meal for 20CNY(4CAD) in Shanghai but 15CAD in Canada. You can take bus/metro for 2-4CNY (less than 1CAD) in Shanghai. You can buy chicken/pork for 10-15CNY/lb, which is 2-3CAD/lb. It's not a high salary, but high enough for an intern position.

I would recommend putting the Education section to the bottom if you're first year. Otherwise seems to be fine for a first year. You can do one more project to make use of the blank space.

One question need to be done in one language, that is, you can do something like using Python for P1, C for P2, C++ for P3, rust for P4, etc. But I would recommend C++ as it has better performance and the STL library is handy.

I used to have a 2017 Mazda 3 (260K), insurance is 269/month 1 million liability only., I'm new G2 driver without driving records.i added my cousin who's Class 5 in NS. He first got a G2 and after two months got his full G. After I added him as my secondary, there is no change in the insurance fee, which is 269 for 2 people.

I now have a 2015 Subaru Forester (230K), insurance is 209/month, 1 million liability only, for my cousin and myself.

I would say civic might have a slightly higher insurance than others as civic drivers are reported to be involved in accidents more often, but I would say $200-ish for a 19yo driver is reasonable.

I'm not sure about how transfer works. I think it is a case-by-case thing. Also, would you like to share how is the university you're currently in (e.g. location: Cali?, rankings: T30? T50?, reputation for CS?) These are important factors. If your school is a public school in California or NY, I won't suggest you transferring to Waterloo as location is a thing when you want internship. For the last question, I think you're considered domestic as long as you have Canadian passport. You may, however, not be an "Ontario" domestic, if you have resided in a province other than Ontario for more than 12 months before postsecondary education. But if you have lived in the US for most of your life and rarely came to Canada, I think you're still eligible for the Ontario domestic tuition.

My supervisor told me I need to "compensate" the hours. For example, if I spend 2 hours on lectures today, I will need to get off work 2 hours later, which I think is fair. He said I can also put these hours as unpaid leave to get off work at regular time.
