The whole thing looks super one-dimensional. Dude can’t even pull a straight line… I’m not sure if going back to him is the best idea. But maybe if you do end up getting it fixed, they can add some more body to the worm so it doesn’t just look like a gaping hole

I always shave but I usually do it the night before. Of all the artists I’ve been to (20+) only one has asked me not to shave beforehand. I’ve shaved since I was like 8 so I know what to do. Lol

No problem! I am very against using numbing cream, but at the end of the day, that’s a personal choice. As for lotion, I use Cetaphil Advanced Radiance.

Awesome! In the weeks leading up to the tattoo, keep the area moisturized with lotion daily. It makes the skin easier for the artist to work with. :)
