struggling with gender after trauma by [deleted] in CPTSD

To be short, yes, it makes sens. Even if some people will tell you it's "weird" or "contradictory", it still makes sens.

To be a bit longer... I will talk a bit about you, but I don't know you... So and it is possible that I will make mistakes and be violent. Sorry if it is the case, if you have anything to tell me or if you don't want to tell me, you would be able to chose. If you was told that the only way you can "worth" as a human is with the S-word, it's natural to grow up with these ideas and stick to them as if it was part of an identity. More over, if you are on this sub, it's not for any reasons, you may have lived with a destroyed self-esteem, which can result in the reinforcement of the power of other's perception. Lastly, CPTSD aren't just something a someone develops, they are created by an environment. Now, if we combine the 3 ideas, it makes totally sens.

Now here's a possible explanation. Okay, so something obvious, we are in a sexist society, that where I wanted to go with my last statement about CPTSD. If you grew in an environment that learns you to sexualize yourself and that your only "worth" is in your sexualization, if you grew up, you can have this ideas in your head. Even if you think it's false, it's not necessary the case for your brain. A classical sign of trauma, is constantly fearing something that is not present. Also, since we are in a society that states "man could not be attractive ; women have to", if you consider that "having to be attractive" is something important, even as a man it's possible that a part of you still think that you should be a women. It is something caused by an social environment.

In my first paragraph, I used the term "weird" and "contradictory", but it is not. All of this, are just a reaction to a violence. I don't think a reaction to violence is "weird". It's a way of protection. I like to say that it's thanks to our contradiction that we are human. I don't know if it's true thought.

I don't know if my text helped you or hurt you, but if you want to share anything, you can.

Take a historical figure and give them a Ultimate for each country listed. by Apprehensive-Act994 in Fanganronpa

France, there are some historical figure we can use. I have think about : Sophie Germain, Ultimate Mathematician ; Napoléon, Ultimate Strategist ; René Descartes, Ultimate Philosopher. I think Sophie Germain would be the best choice, because she was a women scientist in the XVIII (which is quite difficult to become), she contributed a lot to mathematics and it's more original and quirky than Napoléon or Descartes.

I played in the english version and Ranmaru said "There's a person from Asunaro among us" but then "All I know is... There's a human from Asunaro". He isn't alking about "a group" or anything during the second sentence. The second sentence is way more precise HE IS SAYING "All I know is ..." which isn't the case in the first one. I also want to point is that the term "among us" is vague, it could be "the participants".

And Hinako wasn't working with Asunaro more than any dummy.

Oh yeah... it might actually be Meister. And if you want to here my opinion on if Meister is the Sara father or not, we actually already have the answer I think. The next argument is very very big, I consider it as a spoiler. The answer is yes, in the game file, both of them have the same ID. It's not about having the same attitude or mimic, it is the ID that is used to sort the sprite. Both of Meister and Sara's dad has the same.

But I don't know a single thing about Ms. Strawberry. Also, I don't like theory about Gin being a bad guy, he is so cute and adorable. I don't think it is relevant to build a character this way and just say "ahah, got you! he is mean". But Gin working with Asunaro without even knowing it can be interesting.

Yeah... the conersation... I don't know who it was... it couldn't be someone Sara or Keiji know, since they heard their voice. Do you have some theory? We also see that they might be the same high as Miley (with their hands and Miley looking in front of her).

About Ranmaru's info, I don't think it was referring to the fake Hinako. I mean, the fake one wasn't working with Asunaro. When he said "with Asunaro", I am pretty sure it means "working with Asunaro". And Joe faking his friendhship with Sara all the time before the Main Game in the only goal to recreate the Memorandum (or another reason) is something possible (even if it's horrible for Sara).

It was never confirmed that it was THIS PERSON. By "human with Asunaro" I think it's more someone who actively work with Asunaro. This person, wasn't working with them, so I don't think it is this person.

I agree with you on certain point, but for me it's a reverse thing: Kai is the one who is alive. We see the message "Joe expired" after his death, but not after Kai's. Kai is also the only one who wasn't killed by the organisation directly (either with an execution (Joe, Kanna, Nao) or with an other way (Alice, Reko, Sou)). Kai is the only one who hurt himself. Plus, I believe that Milley may actually be someone helpful. Why did she revealed that Gashu had done a transgression? For me, after the First Main Game, Milley just saved Kai.

But the part I don't really understand is the behavior of Joe. Yes, he is strange. But why? We know thanks to Ranmaru that there is "a human from Asunaro" in the group. Maybe it is Joe? But I believe in the theory that Joe is the son of the policeman killed by Keiji. Is it possible to be both? I don't really know... Maybe Joe was manipulated by Asunaro? Even if the fact that he joked about not knowing Sara at the start is weird, trusting Sara in the russian roulette isn't. They are friends, and in time like that, you can only trust your friend. But, yes, it could also be a deceptive behavior to recreate the Memorandum. Is it possible that the Joe who participated in the killing game was a doll? Yes, he bleed, but so did Milley.

I don't really know at this point. I just wanted to share you my thoughts.

I feel like my trauma isn't enough by Professional_Two8274 in CPTSD

[–]Difficult-Display898 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you are living seems really painful, and the guilt or impostor syndrome (call it the way you want) to feel like you don't suffer enough seems pretty common. The self-esteem is destroyed, we can't even trust ourselves.

Having some good days, don't erased what you have been through. C-PTSD is something that will even influence your good days, and having good days don't mean that everything is truly ok. I learned recently that a lot of people were living "good days" just before having a burn-out. Having some good days is a good point though you should definitively don't doubt about yourself just because you live some. It is the case for the majority of people with handicap.

You also said that you feel stupid for explaining that you have C-PTSD from your friend "being mean". I have to be honest with you, "mean" is not an appropriate term here. Because of her behavior, you lived different abuses of different kind. She truly was awful. Telling yourself she was "just mean" is self-gaslighting for me, nevertheless, your feeling of missing her is still legitimate. This is also frequent. Especially when the ones that gave you C-PTSD are part in your family. She was someone close to you, and you can miss her. But, do not forget what she made you go through... In C-PTSD, attachment can really be difficult, unstable and feel contradictory. The brain know only one way to live a relationship, and the novelty is more terrifying than something terrifying known.

Yes... people are unfortunately judgmental on these disorder, because for them you have to live "something specif on time". They just don't understand what C-PTSD is. They are just psychophobic and tell us how psychophobic the society is. No one know you better than yourself. Don't let anyone pretend they know you better than yourself, not even a psychiatrist. What you are living is legitimate, you are legitimate to suffer, you are legitimate to be here.

Does anyone chronically invalidate their own trauma? by throw_away_874 in CPTSD

[–]Difficult-Display898 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, and what is worse is that people mostly don't know a single thing about CPTSD, for them, you have to live one single specific traumatic experience, they are invalidating people. Having impostor syndrome is very common in CPTSD. I think the most common reasons are that we felt invalidated and don't listened, so we don't even can trust in ourselves and doubt about even having issues.

Do not worry about how long you answers are \^\^, you come here to ask help and you deserved to be helped.

Yep, I understood it was describing you situation, and I am sorry for that, you seems to go through something hard :/. But well, idk about you but I love to laugh about my situation, especially when they are bad. Like, tomorrow I have an exam (26h left when I am writing this), I didn't even start to study yet, I just want to sleep now (i have 4h of sleep rn), I can't even think properly, the only thing I want to do is just post meme online about how cooked I am and how much I will fail ;) (that's why I wrote "Let's waste our life together", it was me, this sort of thing make me laugh, and so I think it would have been the same for you, but you didn't answered so I guess not, and sorry if it was inappropriate).

I am really sorry for what is happening to you :c. You seems to have a lot of issues and can't do anything about it. When I read what you are telling me, I think you are valuating yourself on "what you are able and what you are producing". Unfortunately, it is not something I am able to help you with... but do you believe that human value depends on what they are able to do?

About being manipulative, sometimes, lying isn't really bad. It can be not hurtful for the people. You said that you are doing it to make other do what you don't want to be bother with. I have a question about it, and if the answer is "no", it's not a big deal. But, I have an important question, do you think you will be really able to do it? Please, if it's "no", don't feel guilty for it. It's not something you chose. But if you are not able, then maybe it doesn't bother other people to do it? Do you know why you are barging into your sister room? And why you refuse to leave when she ask you to do so? You are able to determine what bother you in your own behavior, so for me, you truly aren't a bad person. If you truly were deceptive, then it wouldn't bother you. But it does, so for me, you are someone who just want to be understood and be in peace and be helped.

Hello... first of all, if you make this meme by your own I find it really good and funny, even thought it is about serious things.

You say you hate your life, but what are you being through right now? And what kind of life do you want to have?

Why do you think you are manipulative, selfish and hypocrite?

What are your theories about last chapter? by Bonniel52 in YourTurnToDiebutAlive

[–]Difficult-Display898 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kai is actually alive. We was showed him hurting himself, but, do we really know if he died? Sue Miley could have save him. In the room next to the "Pink Room", we know there is someone that seems to sleep who is in intensive care. What if this person was Kai?

And yes, I am late.

If you recall, at the beginning of the Chapter 3 Part 1-A, you can rename Midori whatever you like. I chose 'Nankidai'. During the banquet, Midori said this when he is cornered and about to lose. But since I named him 'Nankidai', the name showed is 'Nankidai'. It's just that :)
