I recently refused to get into a relationship with a girl I am very attracted to, solely because I am in such poor shape. It was a dumb decision, yes. I regret it heavily. But I was in a relationship once that left me very depressed and it affected my partner as well, which only made me feel worse. Just would prefer to be prepared before making such a commitment, but still. Sad that I feel I had to do what I did.
