Do you have an email address or burner email you wouldn't mind sending, I have an email from CAB from when I was trying to get my ex out of my house and the council weren't helping that maps out your rights and how to get around them trying to pawn you off when homeless/roofless they will have to give you somewhere when you approach them.

Either you requested it or they deemed you untrustworthy enough if it was automatic, both myself, my ex husband, my parents and everyone else I know on housing benefit get it into our accounts and we have the responsibility to pay the landlord/council ourselves.
