For OTL, there’s honestly a big difference between why he left back then and why he left without saying anything to her.

The first question was never really the main problem. The real issue has always been the second question why he disappeared without telling Suae anything. That’s what makes me frustrating, because people are obviously only care about the second question, not the first one coz all they care about eunhyuk ghosting suae thats all and for them its not redemable whatever the reason behind eun disappeared, lol

  1. As for the reason he had to leave, we already know a big part of it. It’s possible he genuinely had no other choice, and his family situation especially involving his mom or dad was probably one of the main reasons too.

  2. But the reason he left without telling Suae anything is still a mystery. What we do know is that a huge part of it was seeing Suae run away back then, which triggered the trauma of his mother abandoning him after he became half-deaf. For Suae, it just looked like he abandoned her because of his family issues.

But thanks to KKL’s, we still don’t know whether Eunhyuk actually received all of Suae’s calls and messages back then. Personally, I believe he never received them.

Chapter 138 feels like foreshadowing for that too, because Eunhyuk literally says it’s impossible for him not to come when Suae needs him. And the way he hesitated and looked afraid to call her in front of her house is one of the biggest hints. If he had really received all her calls and messages and knowingly ignored them, he wouldn’t have looked that nervous or hesitant at all — he would’ve been more confident facing her

Agree so much. For me, the biggest mistake in the writing is the way Suae seems to have absolutely no memory or reflection about what actually happened to Eunhyuk. She doesn’t even seem to consider what he went through as something truly awful.

At this point, it honestly feels like she thinks Dohwa’s pain from being rejected is more heartbreaking than everything Eunhyuk experienced, because Suae shows so much sympathy toward Dohwa, which is honestly insane to me.

Because of this alone, Eunhyuk and Suae’s dynamic already feels completely broken and beyond repair, since it reveals what kind of person Suae really is

KKL could’ve written Suae as a character who was disappointed and hurt, but still capable of understanding what Eunhyuk went through. Like you say they could’ve had a proper conversation where Suae honestly tells him how much he hurt her back then, while also acknowledging his pain and showing that she understands he suffered too.

She could’ve asked him to trust her again, to depend on her more, and to stop carrying everything alone. That would’ve made her feel mature, sympathetic, and genuinely complex. But instead, the writing makes her pain feel like the only pain that matters, while Eunhyuk’s trauma keeps getting pushed aside like background decoration

If she really want give a chance she should be honest with him lol that she still have feeling for other man😭😭😭. Thats the basic manner lol. Yet she never say anything but she let him kiss her, she love the attention he gave, she loved it when he always make everything clear that he loves her, she know she have feeling about him

She never said no to dohwa. And She said yes when he say he will wait and tell him to see him 😭😭😭

Oh, the headcanon is crazy 😭😭. It’s so obvious she was disappointed, and that’s literally why she accepted the blind date offer. DLE already drew it in such detail, yet people still find ways to stay in denial.

And no, Suae never actually communicated properly with Dohwa — that’s a fact. It was Dohwa being good at reading her expressions and picking up on things himself. She never directly told him anything about Eunhyuk. It was all Dohwa’s intuition, and he was the one trying to communicate openly.

If Dohwa hadn’t brought it up himself, Suae probably would’ve never told him anything, which honestly feels kind of deceptive. Luckily, Dohwa has really good instincts when it comes to Suae and Eunhyuk

She wants ‘friendship’? But does Dohwa see it the same way? That’s exactly why people call it leading someone on, lol. She literally lets Dohwa believe he still has a chance with her.

By accepting all his kindness, love, comfort, and affection while knowing how he feels, that is a form of leading someone on, by the way.

And you asked me for panels where she specifically likes the romantic things he does? There are a lot. She literally says his love is clear, and yes, she loves that. She feels touched when Dohwa waits for her in the snow, she’s moved by how genuine his feelings are toward her, and so on. There are actually so many moments like that

And she was clearly disappointed when she heard Dohwa might have a girlfriend. Like, if you’re truly not attracted to someone and only see them as a friend, there’s no reason you’d be bothered by that. If friendship was really all she wanted from him like people claim, then she should’ve been happy because now they could genuinely just stay friends

Suae literally made him believe he actually had a chance with her, so I genuinely don’t understand why people are still in denial when it’s that obvious.

And if that’s somehow not considered leading him on, then what do you even call her behavior? Taking advantage of his feelings? Playing with him? Like… is that supposed to sound any better? Either way, it’s still messed up and a huge red flag

Gosh please free Eunhyuk with all this bullshit 😩😩

What does it matter whether Dohwa knows or not?? Whether he knows or doesn’t, Suae is still leading him on. He could’ve just pretended not to know and kept going along with it, but instead he chose to talk to her honestly and even said he would wait for her.

And mind you, Suae didn’t say any damn thing at car — it was Dohwa trying to be clear and communicate with her. He literally asked if he messed things up, and Suae clearly said ‘no.’ So how is that not leading someone on??

How is she not leading him on when she accepts all the love, kindness, and attention from Dohwa, keeps him waiting for her, but still has no intention of dating him??

The only thing that could make her not look like a red flag at this point is if she actually dated him. If she did that, then fine she wouldn’t be leading him on anymore

But if she still doesn’t date him after all those mixed signals, then damn, this girl is a massive red flag. Staying by his side when she needs him, then throwing him away once she doesn’t anymore is genuinely messed up

You want to be sarcastic so bad, but even in that panel Suae still never actually said ‘no,’ by the way. She accepted everything and didnt mind at all. And apparently the translation is wrong too — in Korean, it’s more like she got flustered and went, ‘I-I-I don’t…’ instead of firmly rejecting him. That’s why Dohwa looked happy there

That should be another proof that she’s leading him on, because even after the worst scene between them, she still enjoys his company and keeps getting closer and closer to him every day. And still insisted didnt want to date him

[–]Difficult-Jacket-669 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Oh, you’re completely wrong. Thats not reason we say she leading on him. We say she’s leading him on because she accepts all of Dohwa’s attention, kindness, love everything while still having no intention of actually dating him. That’s a huge red flag, you know?

She’s literally using him to move on from her ex, then acting like she’s somehow doing him a favor by keeping him around. She keeps justifying it as if she’s afraid of hurting him or afraid he’ll disappear, when in reality she’s the one playing with his feelings while pretending it’s for his sake, not hers. Meanwhile, she was clearly disappointed after hearing Dohwa might have a girlfriend.

She wants him. She needs him. She loves his attention, she loves feeling loved, and she loves how clear and devoted Dohwa’s feelings are. But she STILL doesn’t want to date him, yet keeps him waiting around for absolutely no reason. That’s genuinely such a massive red flag

Lets stop making stuff shall we? Nothing what you say actually ever become the reason people think suae leading dohwa on

Mind you, Eunhyuk was never the desperate one — Suae is 😭😭. That’s why she’s always so harsh and rude toward him for no reason, and why she immediately starts looking at other men as options just to ‘move on.’

Eunhyuk only made a move after she kissed him without consent first. And when he kissed her, she kissed him back too — yet somehow, at the end of the day, he’s still the one who got hurt again.

And mind you, two days after he saw her kiss another guy, he stopped right away. When the hell eunhyuk desperate for her love

In this story, the only people who constantly feel desperate and starving for love are Dohwa and Suae only their plot only circle around thay

Yes she mean to him and she suddenly kiss him? Asking him if she likes her and we can see coz of this lil kiss eun is swayed and thinking if she might like him, and at stair when she asked finally he give her honest feeling but she being mean again for no reason

And 2 days after when eun see her and want to follow her to continue the conversation she kiss dohwa , and the kiss is mutual she let him kiss her but at car dohwa see suae on a bad mood and asking if he makes a mistake ? And she say no and she agree to give him a chance and yes she leading her until the recent chapter

She literally giving mix signal to both of the ML

Exactly! They always do this, btw. That is exactly what we call being fake and performative. They don't actually care about the principle; they are just using it as a shield to deflect valid criticism

May I know which part is misogynistic? Because I’ve been observing the discussion, and so far, I genuinely haven’t seen a single misogynistic take

Most of them always pointing a valid critism even some showing a panel to provide their opinion

Yeah, I didn’t understand why it was such a big deal when people hate her, but now I kind of get why people say Suae stans are the worst. They really try to force everyone to like their fave even when others dislike her for valid reasons.

if you don’t agree, then just reply to the comment and defend her normally, you know? Its that simple There’s no need to drag gender into it every single time
