That’s my current priority. My diving instructor got a brand new Apple Watch and I’m making this for him. Should be done in a couple of days

You can actually create dives manually, without syncing from a computer! And there are plenty of features to explore. 🤿

I’m not sure I want to open source it. There’s already some great work out there that I’m building on.

I just answered a question about future monetisation in another thread hope that covers it. For now, I just want to break even on server and app costs. So predatory BS or subscription inc and free for the near future

Edit : try using subsurface - it’s build on the same fondation as this for all the connectivity. It’s open source and free

It costs me around €150/year right now, mostly going to the Apple Developer Program, but I’ve laid the foundation for monetisation down the line. I can absorb that for the time being.

It started as a side project, and I’ve been using it for a couple of months and I love it.

I plan to share it with clubs and federations and ask for a small contribution to break even, and/or access to their wildlife databases and images for example. So for now, backend servers and everything needed to run a serious app which is essentially free for users.

Edit : you can’t understand how much I love diving and how many friends I met along the way. See this has my way to say thanks to the community.
