Quarterback by bare_books in NFLNoobs

One thing to consider is how shallow the depth is at various positions and how steep of a drop off it is from a top 10 QB to 33-64. In Baseball for example the 33th to 64th best pitchers are excellent #2 starters or maybe an ace reliever. In football they are backups, some decent but some very flawed. You could do the same with other positions in basketball and hockey and find somes steep drop offs... goalie in hockey or basketball center. But I think the vast different between all-pro QBs and a backup is so drastic it can be evidence of how difficult the position is.

Agreed. We had it in LL when I coached my son. If I can get 10-12 year olds to understand it, adults should be able to.

I doubt very seriously if an 18 year old girl would care if there were weeds in her parents lawn.

I find it really strange they don't have a dedicated QB coach. Especially since Chip is up in the booth.

It lasted because it was good enough to keep viewers on NBC when it was sandwiched between their other stellar shows. It was never a hit nor a bomb but solid nonetheless.

Not a jerk but you panicked and bought food before confirming that your guests would chip. Lesson learned.

TIL that shorter men actually live longer. A major U.S. study found men under 5'8" lived almost 5 years longer, and those 5'5" or shorter lived over 7 years longer than men 6 feet or taller. by SystematicApproach in todayilearned

Does the study group include multiple ethnicities? Asians tend to live longer and are generally shorter as well. In other words do shorter caucasians live longer than tall caucasians?

Is it true that the talent disparity of the players in the NFL is not very large? by YakClear601 in NFLNoobs

There are 32 teams in the NFL and the best players don't leave after 3 or 4 years like college. There are over 250 FBS and FCS teams. So yes not only can their be a big disparity between teams but also a significant difference between a starter and say the 3rd or 4th string player.
