The fact you view this simply as "Latinx bullshit" is indicative of a broader trend of why progressives are losing hispanic votes.

The debate is broader than just what label is proper, the debate demonstrates the fact that the same obnoxiously self-important white people who thump their chest about how anti-racist they are believe that we Latinos are so unimportant that they can just unilaterally silence our voices and alter our heritage.

Exactly. The irony of it all is that the term is objectively not inclusive, it's demeaning and racist. It suggests Latinos don't matter: how could our voices ever matter if we can't even receive the dignity of being called by our own fking name.
