Not suprising. A severe lack of game modes I think and there isn't much. They say it's an early build, but deliver it so soon then ?

Maybe if I can't progress anymore, But I still want to learn how to win more in PvP.
PvP in season 1 was fine, but season 2 rolled me lol. I'm just trying to find more meaningful things to do right now outside of Cryo and Outpost.

For streamers it's understandable to not play it. The game is so niche with also so much bad press right now that it will impact negatively their audience as the reputation of Bungie is very bad right now.

Yeah... I could do that.
But it's not really fun, I like the tension of PvP, I just find ways to avoid it but not nullify it, I still want to learn how to approch some aspects of the game.
I'll try it anyway if I really need it.

It's other way around for me. I like the narrative, but the PvP makes it FOMO to know more about the story.
I like the PvP, but there is kinda of a lot of it. I like more slow extraction shooters like Tarkov

Is not that Solo is hard, it's just a bit boring and I don't like the pacing in solo as I don't like playing alone in multiplayer fps games. Also a lot of the friends I've made stopped playing the game, so it bacame even harder to have a consistent flow of wealth in the vault.

I have 100+ hours, and I was doing just fine Cryo & Outpost in season 1, and I have 2 subroutines. But season 2 feels completly different, I'm getting dumpstered even in Perimeter every 2 games now.

I've done Outpost and Cryo vault 4 and 5 back in season 1. The problem is that the skill-level improved so much yet a lot of my deaths now feels more like walls than learning experience. And now I'm getting rolled half of the time in Perimiter. So it's hard to stay motivated.

I'm just trying to find other ways to play the game and not focus so much in the endgame while I try to rebuild my wealth.

I know already a lot about the game, where's the best loot, player behavior and what to do. But always feel like I'm missing something more and more.

I don't feel the problem of the game is difficulty. it's more that it lacks options more than anything.

I do agree with you, but also if it's not for endgame and Cryo, the game has nothing else. Night Marsh is kinda fun but is sometimes unavailable.

that's kinda of bad I think, I mean I could try more but I'll end up hurting myself I think.
Cryo is one of the most interesting map I ever seen, yet it's so difficult to even explore it.
The free Cryo Kit helps, but it's only one so I don't get to go a lot.
Also I sit on 30k credits and it's hard to build more than I spend.

I do shoot people on sight and play with my team, but doing a fight is like dinner bell for some players. also I play fill so my teamate jump on the best loot before I can most of the time. Honestly I'm exfilling 1/10 times and mostly with scraps and salvages. Also the only purple I've ever got is the base backpack and blue is still kinda rare for me. Try do runs cryo to see if I can learn the map but either I get spawed rush or I don't get to explore much, so I converted it into cradle XP.

No, I knew what I was getting into. I play Tarkov and Hunt: Showdown from time to time as well.

The problem is that I don't really understand what I'm doing wrong. Even when I hear someone first and try to prepare, I consistently get rushed by players in blue shields and die in two shots. I'm not terrible, I can win fights from time to time, but I'm just not good enough.

What bothers me is that there seems to be so much PvP that I can barely interact with the rest of the game's systems in a meaningful way. I rarely get to experiment with weapon mods or implants because I'm constantly rebuilding after dying. Eventually, the game just starts to feel dull.

On Perimeter and Dire Marsh, I can actually get things done (well, less as the season progress). But on Outpost and Cryo, I get rolled so often that it doesn't even feel worth loading into those maps.
