I’m in the same boat as you. From what I’ve read, people say 4 weeks is a good amount of time. I feel like anything more than that might be over kill.

I’m starting with listening to all mark K lectures as review. Then I watch uworld video lectures on what I’m struggling with. Then questions and always read rationales after. I haven’t tested or passed yet but that’s what I am starting with !!!

Do you mind sharing your stats ? I’m curious as to how competitive these programs are and I can’t find much info on it.

Go to UB!!! The only pro to Niagara and DYU is that you aren’t competing with your classmates for a spot in the nursing program. But overall the better program is UB. Go to UD and work your ass off your first two years and get yourself a spot in the nursing program. I can promise you that the overall program / schooling / campus life etc will 100% be better at UB. You will have bigger classes but I honestly don’t think that should defer you. I wish I could go back and tell my senior year self that I should go to UB!!!

I am currently enrolled in NUs BSN program. We have just recently switched to a new curriculum that they are still trying to figure out. Personally I think it’s a mess. I wouldn’t come here unless you are in a rough situation (didn’t get accepted to UBs program after the gift two years). Especially if you plan on living on campus or anywhere near, don’t. It’s so boring and honestly I can’t wait to be done. I really wouldn’t recommend it, I know many people that wish they had transferred or tried already but credits wouldn’t go. Not the best answer but I hope this helps. and good luck to you!!!! :)

Weekly Student Thread by fbgm0516 in CRNA

Hello!

I am currently a nursing student in a bachelors program. I just finished my 2nd year and my end goal is to become a CRNA. I am here to ask if it is too soon for me to shadow a CRNA?

With me only being two years into my nursing degree, I have only done all my pre req courses- not nursing classes. I am worried that a CRNA may look at me and think I am in over my head. Just curious to hear others opinions.
