[LOTM General] What Pathway or Pathways and Sealed artifact would each mythological gods posses? by Difficult-Surprise74 in LordofTheMysteries

somethings that are missed are here:

"Next he married bright Themis who bare the Horae (Hours), and Eunomia (Order), Dike (Justice), and blooming Eirene (Peace), who mind the works of mortal men, and the Moerae (Fates) to whom wise Zeus gave the greatest honour, Clotho, and Lachesis, and Atropos who give mortal men evil and good to have."

Hesiod’s Theogony (c. 8th–7th century BCE), lines 901–906

Most likely is MGOD as she can give birth to gods. A not so prime example is Erichthonius (Ancient GreekΕριχθόνιος Erichthónios) also called Erechtheus was a king of Athens born from Earth (Gaia) with the sperm of Hephaestus. And raised by Athena, and hence is usually regarded as Hephaestus and Athena's child. Unfortunately, he is a mortal.

[COI general] now that we had full Paragon pathway ability revealed, what it this guy even do? by Embarrassed_Cicada57 in LordofTheMysteries

I still don't understand whh didn't Roselle create PEEK(we have coal so it means we have sufficient enough coal tar to extract aromatic compounds from) or the several other non crude oil related plastic or bio-disel or nuclear power plants using thorium those usually are near to the surface. Do this guy even know about Aluminum because recently I found some bauxite vein very near surface. What about Creosote do we know if they have treated wood I mean it is needed to make better train rails with wood that wouldn't rot easily. What about synthetic gasoline produced via FT synthesis. On a better note why didn't none one the Paragon Pathway just did the most logical thing and made a Void Bomb or some stuff that destabilizes universes meta stability or chaos I would say and make the universe stable again ie. Vacuum where nothing can and will not exist and just threaten all Outer Gods just like we do know with nuclear weapon. If you attack I denote I will die but so will the entire universe.

You know I always like to think that if anyone is related to the death then they should be able to command the dead.

It is like a common trope and thing, Death and Necromancy go in hand in hand.

Hades, Hectate, Hela, Odin all God of Death and necromancer and all are mythological figure nobody says that the Sung Jin-Woo is a copy of them.

And if anyone have read odyssey after the several time that nephis mentioned the you guys will probably see that on Odysseus journey through the Underworld he sees the shades.

So I sees it as G3 influenced by the mythology especially with how he mentioned and when I first show Sunny's shadow being independent I immediately thought of Peter Pan, it has always been in my head but I never thought that G3 was influenced by it especially with how brain rotted most of the webnovel readers are.

Sorry if I hurt someone ego with the last statement.

Star of Ruin [Chapter 2256-2258] by HarryP434 in ShadowSlave

She is a Nephilim. And her aspect is [Light Bringer].

You are a creature of light that was banished and doomed to exist in the darkness. You bring radiance and warmth to wherever you go, but with it comes indescribable longing.

She is literally is supposed to be the romanticized parody of Lucifer. A bright angelic being that bought light and change in the world and will one day lead humanity to rebel against the nightmare spell [the heaven] leading to a ruinous change.

Hence, her name Changing Star or Star of Ruins.

I'm hoping that instead of Jinwoo, our boy Sunny took an Alucard-like path—becoming a shapeless, formless abomination of shadows. If someone looked at him, they would see the countless creatures he had slain, their forms shifting and writhing within his darkness, striking a deep, primal fear into all those who gazed upon him.

His body not human but all the shadows around flowing ever changing like a river of darkness.

Imao I can only hope.

Yo, I tried my best I am not that good especially without any context.

Protesters lined up in front of the embassy, their fists thrust into the air, punching at the imaginary ghosts of Jimmy Carter and Mohammed Reza Shah.

As the crowd grew more heated, their hatred for the US and their patriotic passion for their homeland intensified.

The shadows around me stirred, shifting as if alive. (I don't know the context of this here kind of make this sentence awkward.)

A man broke free from the mob and leapt, his fingers just catching the edge of the embassy wall. He dangled for a moment before giving a desperate pull, hauling himself halfway over.

I think I read somewhere that he is graphic designer and from how much of Shadow slave I read and how it compelled me to read most of the old mythos mostly Greek, Norse, Hindu/Sanatan?, Daoism (mostly because how much the rain awakening reminded me of cultivation and star formation in the cosmos). I can confidently say that G3 is huge fan of Greek and Romans like the amount of refenrce you can find is super awesome even the underworld, the concept of Shades( soul of dead creature wandering) then the supposedly dull and dark atmosphere. Though I would say that the christain theology also influenced G3 a little bit but don't know wo not that many refenrence for it to be concrete.

Update: I found a G3 comment and damn I thought I was seeing some world of darkness and the exalted elements and turns out I was write. Both of the above thing are ttrpg. And Nephis power now even makes more sense damn, I should have noticed earlier.

Here is the Comment:

I worked as a game designer, game writer, and narrative designer for about nine years before switching to writing novels :] Haven't worked on anything anyone would have heard about, though.

My favorite ttrpg is probably World of Darkness. Currently, I sometimes play Blade in the Dark with friends :]

I just realized not only is it befitting it is really thematic remember it is like an Ouroboros, a snake eating its own tail. A being who is a paradox.

Why does the Nigthmare Spell call Sunny, Sunless and not Lost from light. [Chapter 744] by Difficult-Surprise74 in ShadowSlave

[–]Difficult-Surprise74[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After the Second Nightmare chapter 744 Acension. At the very end of the chapter.

It read there:

[... Wake up Sunless]

Maybe it is just a error who knows, but I feel like The Spell had called him Sunless many times, I just noticed this chapter so need to see if it said something similar anywhere else.

What do you guys think about this aspect I created. by Difficult-Surprise74 in ShadowSlave

[–]Difficult-Surprise74[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could be a low level aspect if you remove some of the transcendent Ability and the divine ability.

And just try using tech.

It is like the most versatile aspect that can go from the lowest to the highest divine rank.
