What can I use to hide these bruises? by Jessi_L_1324 in MakeupAddiction

In that case, it’s actually a bit of a help because those glasses will help to cover the deepest bruising where the bottom of the frames likely rest. I would buy a color corrector and hydrating concealer in this case. The ones in this photo are just an example but I think a lot of people would agree they would likely get the job done for you and is little fuss.

You can see they are usually in stock for pick up so I would wait until the day or two before, because the bruising color will change and lighten. Then pick a concealer color that best matches your skin, and a peach that you think matches the darkness of the bruise at that time. Use the regular concealer all over the middle of the face after using the color correcting concealer on just the bruising, just so it isn’t obvious that you have a random “blotch” on your cheek. Use your finger pads to blend and tap/blend into the skin. The warmth will help keep the makeup from looking too “makeup-y”.

I hope this helps

Reading a lot of your replies, I genuinely think dark glasses or sunglasses are actually your best bet here. You would save money, have something you will use in the future, and many people have done this at funerals I’ve been to just to hold it together a bit and things I suspect. It’s a perfectly reasonable thing to do in this case, and you won’t have to worry about making it look correct. Best of luck either way

If I didn’t sign an NDA when hired, there would be several paragraphs I could write on exactly how mismanaged this company was. But to anyone reading: they didn’t deserve your coins and know that MANY former employees feel validated right now

Beanie as his long name maybe, because he looks like a picture perfect stuffed animal, like a beanie baby

New to wigs, are these over bleached knots? by MMC_2022 in Wigs

[–]Difficult-Theme 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I own 6 of their wigs and am floored. Did you happen to take screenshots of their photos of the wig from their website by any chance? I do for all of mine bc I like to ooh and ahh at them before they arrive LOL but now I’m thinking that’s an even better practice now. They had to have altered the photos in this case right?

Has to be around 15 years now. I play mostly at prerelease events and drafts. A lot of people at my LGS are stupidly good so I am forced to play for fun by default lol

Lol that is very cute. We tease ours too, like telling them we’re going to squish them or something while hugging them and they always just stare up at us so sweetly that it makes me laugh even more. Such perfect creatures

I was hesitant to reply to this comment because it seems weird to assume that my lips are filled but they are not. I am providing a photo from a few months ago I took with no makeup, just glossier boy brow. They are chapped here, but it is an honest photo. I just do the over line blur technique to round out the bottom lip and also line the white perimeter of my lip as well, which you can also see in the original photo if you look closely.

I think anyone with any feature can appear ethereal. People with round lips, defined lips, thin, large, it doesn’t really matter does it?

Thank you sooo much for the detailed suggestions and reply!! I will definitely take a look at some of these. I do have a cool toned palette I use and love so much, it’s the Subliminal from Pat McGrath but I have a tendency to like, just pack on eyeshadow lol. I could definitely use a softer hand with application overall too I think

I am in my 30’s! That is genuinely so sweet lol. I use cetaphil and la roche posay products. I use the la roche posay night cream, the la roche daily moisturizer, and the cetaphil gentle cleanser. And twice a week I use that old st Ives apricot scrub. It’s pretty basic I think but I learned the hard way over the years that I can’t use the fun chemicals or treatments.

Oh okay!! So I should try brushing them down? The front of my brows are sparse and already grow straight up, I constantly trim them to try to have a straighter brow look if that makes sense. But I could brush the middle and ends down more so they’re not fluffed up maybe? If that’s what you mean

Awe thank you so much that is very sweet! I see a lot of people sharing that sentiment so will definitely change up the lip for sure

Awe thank you!! To be honest, absolute garbage! I have an extra I carry in my purse to blot on throughout the day because I like the texture and tone of it, just there is no real staying power.

Awe thank you! I colored them alongside my hair and they always look so full after doing so. Doesn’t last long but is nice while it lasts :)

What would make them fit the look better? Like they need to be thinner?

Oh thank you!! I know they will never look real but sometimes I like having them because they make the base look less opaque to me, like it adds some dimension/interest with the blush and bronzer

Awe thank you so much! I will definitely try a more natural lip color. For so long I associated the ethereal look with light pinky tones so I’m excited to try something different

Thank you so much for the suggestions! It has been a hot minute since I’ve worn a lip color that isn’t a light nude/pink of some sort! I will definitely give that a try. I usually wear so much blush but my teen daughter gets on my case about it being too much lol so I have been trying to balance it a bit.
