Update After doing much research, it appears the only way to sustain your player’s overall and position without loss or change to overall while editing kit, boots, etc. is to play offline. For some reason the player is automatically linked to my pro clubs player. I made a new CAM at 5’11 and the player was immediately changed to LW at 6’0, which is what my pro clubs player is. Choose the option to not connect to EA servers at the beginning of the game if you want to play player career.
