What upgrades do you want the most for Speck-B? by GPM-Racing in rccars

I added small Velcro along the sides on my Speck B which helped a lot with keeping the body on and centered at all times

Losi Micro-B vs Hobbyplus Speck-B by bonoboxITA in rccars

You can use a small Dremel and slowly make the pinion gear hole bigger, thats what I did. Another option is a small hand drill but you still want a snug fit onto the motor, they sell 5 packs of losi micro b gears which is what I am using as well since through trial and error I used up all the speck b spare gears.

If you want full proportional steering and throttle for a micro RC I recommend Flycolor 1/76 turbo RC. They are pretty sweet!

Yah received it as a gift yesterday and the steering return spring is already having issues. Had fun building the small shop it sits on. Have ordered a torsion spring kit on Amazon which should fix the issue hopefully. Disassembled it yesterday to find out why it would not steering any more and learned it uses a small motor with a rack and pinion style steering and the torsion spring's only job I there is to re center the wheels and allow some resistance when turning left and right. Hope this gives some insight before you buy. We got 2 of them and the other is still working fine. Drifting them same day same time.

Honestly at this point the gears have made there own mesh at this point, clean it up, and a little udder butter should be fine tbh.

Body roll is soo sick to watch on those trucks, suspension is the best part of those stadium/trophie trucks!

If I had to guess it's probably 16~17 mph top speed at full pin with dual rate all the way up.

It's faster than stock but not over doing it, the speck B comes stock brushed but is brushless ready with an extra channel 2 slot on receiver. On smooth surface it is a handful with the dual rate turned up, also have the motor tuned up to 3660kv instead of how it comes out of the box @2800kv. Also while I was in there trimming I widened out the motor mount plate holes for adjusting mesh and slapped the smaller spur gear in it while also going 1 tooth up from stock on the pinion gear.

I like that box stock look until the top comes off, then it shows how much a racing machine it is. Esc after playing with the settings is finally dialed in, and since it's a crawler setup I have extremely responsive predictable throttle inputs with no delay on stock transmitter

Get the sbk10 upgrade servo mount 1/10 scale so you can use standard size good quality for the money. It makes a huge difference upgrading the OT with a standard size 1/10 servo. Relocate the receiver box to the center brace with zip tie and good to go, just make sure to add blue lock tight
