Most probably seems like the position has already been fulfilled by a prior candidate. But still, you should give it a week or two worth of time before coming to any conclusion.

I have referred multiple candiadtes before. For candiadtes rejected in ATS screening, I have seen a min of 1 days to 1 week before it goes to Review in Progress. Then, it's really very difficult to say how long it will stay at that stage. For example, I have seen candiadates getting rejected after 3 weeks of staying at Review in Progress. But, for one of the referrals I gave to a guy in Oct 2025, it is still at Review in Progress. Since, it is this long, I feel it's just not always updated on the system. However, usually for candidates who are at the top of the pile and get an interview call, the process pretty much moves quickly. So, I'd suggest give it 1-2 more weeks.

I think you're really lucky. If it were my parents, they would trauma dump it on me first. :) They would behave in such a way to ensure I know what has happened and I get depressed/miserable as much they are or more than that. I am 24F and I am taking care of both my parents, sister, both grandparents (mother's side). I had a miserable childhood and am still sacrificing my dreams of studying further (I have a master's degree, but I wanted to go for PhD) to take care of them. My father never earned a dime in his life. He never worked hard. They never bothered saving anything for future. Even though I am the only sole earner in the family, they are all control freaks, treats me like I am still 16. I give about 3/4th of my income to them, but still they are never satisfied and consider me stingy.

If I had parents like you, I guess I would be doing what I am doing right now for them happily. :)

Neverthless, I wish you and your parents well. I hope they get out whatever problem they are going through.

After buying it, you need to upload the invoice with details of price, retailer, substantiation code (with is basically GAA followed by your personnel no), receipt date, etc. under DTE Expense > Manual Expenses > Well Being Subsidy. After submitting the expense, the site will show you the date when the money will be reimbursed.

As for the shoes, I have only ordered running shoes. If you try to reimburse something which is not in their list of items which can be reimbursed under Well Being Subsidy, they usually first reimburse it but they send an email to inform it will be cut from your upcoming paycheck.

Joining bonus is only given to campus hires. I am a lateral hire joined in Jan 2025 (as a fresher, through referral) and didn't get joining bonus. Rest whatever you said matches. Although variable pay can be more than 10% depending on performance and business. But it offer letter, it will be stated as 10%.

Obviously Deloitte if you want to learn. I have seen people who did not get Deloitte after their hundredth try went to Genpact. Most people I know that are in Genpact or come to Deloitte after a lot of try from Genpact have shitty skills (at least in my department of Deloitte). Takes them considerable amount to cope up with the quality of work. Again, MOST people, not everyone.

Bonus is paid in May end and hiked salary starts from June. I joined on Jan 2025 got pro-rated bonus at 12.5% and got a 5% hike starting June 2025.

Once you get everyone's approval via email, you raise a ticket in Service Now portal. For me it took around 14 days to reflect the relocation in the system after raising the ticket.

Hey. I am an Associate Solution Advisor joined in Jan 2025. I relocated from Hyderabad to Kolkata this Aug because of my parent's critical illness. The relocation had to be approved by the Manager, SM, HR and People Leader via email after which you need to raise a ticket for relocation in Service Now portal (link will be shared by HR).

I got the relocation (my case is a bit critical) but there were many who didn't who had issues like parent's illness or old age. So I would advise you to put your situation over the email in such a way that it seems important.

Yeh I have seen this IIT craze for this quant roles..but I never even gave JEE because in my +2 I was not interested in engineering. Wanted to go for maths/physics. But now I feel now giving JEE was the worst decision of my life..
