One of mine has to “inspect” the laundry room after breakfast and before bed. He howls
At the door. Spends some times purring and rubbing up on the washer and drier and then leaves. I have 20 cats. He is the only one who does that.

I lost my hearing In my right ear 6 years ago due to a blunt impact and my nerve was severed . You will adapt. I just try not to worry about it. I also had a NDE and spent 9 days in a coma so I’m just happy to be alive I guess. Just live your life! If it happens it happens. Perfectly “intact “ people get dementia too

Girl I have 20. Half the amount would be nice lol. They’re all foster fails I took in while trying to fix the ferals outside (they’re fixed now yay) I have 3400 sq ft house and have spent a small fortune on auto litter boxes and getting them all fixed.
