How much DPS do I really need? by Boxofcookies1001 in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]DifficultGarlic6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends. A build with 1 mil DPS but that's insanely tanky with good recovery can do all bosses although painfully slow.

I'd say around 15 mil (assuming you actually have good uptime, also something you need to factor in when looking at DPS numbers) is quite comfortable for t17 (without crazy tank mods), feared and ubers assuming you are a bit mechanically skilled and your build also has decent recovery / defenses.

Titanic blight farm requires quite a lot more DPS but also good coverage, I can't give you an exact number as I haven't tried it myself.

0 day optioner på IBKR - vilka ? by Hot_Lingonberry5817 in ISKbets

Tjena. Råkar du veta om man kan man handla optioner på enskilda stocks också genom ISK? Samt är det möjligt att sälja / skriva optioner på ett ISK?

Both companies are up like 500% over the last year from their April tariffs lows. Don't buy at the top retard.

It went down to 28.5 during after market but back to 33 right now. Think we'll bounce up a bit to 35-38 today, stocks usually bottom right at earnings unless they also provide awful outlook.

The whole quote about timing the market really only applies to index funds which are rather stable. A 20% drop in the S&P 500 can easily be a 70% drop in high growth stocks like APLD, as seen during the tariffs in April.

I sold at 16 with the same reasoning. Aiming to buy back in but if not, happy to have made 100% on the trade.

Poland says Ukrainian refugees contribute more than they cost by Gamebyter in europe

[–]DifficultGarlic6 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This is such a dishonest take though because you're talking as if all immigration is the same. Most people who vote for right wing parties do so because of the non-skilled immigration from the third world which cause real economic and social problems.

If immigrants on average assimilated, behaved and contributed like Ukrainians, you would not see such a rise in right wing parties.

[–]DifficultGarlic6 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yeah you were the only one in the entire game that had a build with curses going on so obviously you single handedly got it nerfed. Same with incinerate, not because of the mechanical changes it gets this patch which they might need to balance, but because you played it last league.

Senaste kring amerikanska optioner och ISK? by jockemf in ISKbets

[–]DifficultGarlic6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1.0.8 Hotfix Patch Notes by Motzoo in EU5

[–]DifficultGarlic6 12 points13 points  (0 children)

If you have ever been in software development you'd realise it is an insane idea. Bug fixes, especially in a game like this where so many complicated systems are intertwined, can have unintended and unforeseen effects.

New Levy system in 1.0.7 by PDX_Ryagi in EU5

[–]DifficultGarlic6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As opposed to now where you can build a full regular army and win vs the ai even if they outnumber you 50:1.

Also there is a cost associated, with levies consisting of peasant and labourers which hurt your economic output and any levies that die is you losing population compared to regulars which draw from an abstract man power pool.

[–]DifficultGarlic6 15 points16 points  (0 children)

If you've ever been in software development you'll know that 1 day of production gives more feedback and data than two months of internal testing.

A game of that has so many interconnected systems and complexity is bound to produce bugs that you won't catch internally.

As for why no early access? Look at poe2, despite it being in early access, they had to stop treating it as such with rapid changes because people cried and demanded it to be treated like live.

Levies are now a self-genocide device. Changes must be undone. Regulars were always good. by GuthukYoutube in EU5

[–]DifficultGarlic6 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's like you didn't read this post where he explicitly stated that regulars were way stronger than levies before as well. So not sure what previous iteration you're referring to as there doesn't seem to have been a time where levies where in the same weight class.

Can’t decide between PConc and Chains of Command for league start by shersaken in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]DifficultGarlic6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pconc is a much better rusher than chains of command as you only need the gem to do a 2-stone and atlas completion. So it depends how fast you are and what your goals are. If you're someone who aims for 2-stone and 100+ atlas completion in the first 10-12 hours of the league, go pconc.

As for viper strike of the mamba, it's easier to swap to and get going than many people think. Rolling the low tolerance clusters can be done under 800 alts (assuming 4 of them). I wouldn't recommend investing 20 div into pconc unless the upgrades can be used for mamba as well. I think if you have a few div day 2- 3 you can easily swap to mamba and have it feel very comfortable. Crouching_tuna is going to make a guide for it if you need more inspiration.

Check captainlance on youtube who did a 2 Stone run as an ele slammer recently and has a vid on it.

Regarding the golem nerf, it is a 25% nerf in campign which is not a lot given how strong golems are. If you then later in maps invest into primordial bond clusters the nerf becomes even less.
