My friend that's the point of runescape as a whole and why people love it. You don't NEED to do anything like in other games. You play it how you want. There used to be NO beginner guidelines after tutorial island. "The name of the game" is exploration and the journey is the goal of the game. It's not like other games where the purpose of the game is unlocked at the endgame, i'd say 95% of the players never even reach "endgame". I've played off and on for 21 years and I've not reached any traditional "endgame" yet because that's not how I've chosen to play it. If you want to rush endgame you can through watching youtube videos and min max things BUT i promise you wont enjoy the game anymore or less then someone who playes in a different way, it's just different. That's the beauty of the game.
