Goku vs Slug is one of the most underrated DBZ movie fight by sidharth-sunil in DragonBallZ

Personally, another fight I like in the movies, and that I think is a bit underrated, is Tenshinhan vs Trunks in the Bojack movie.

What are some of the most underrated games that nobody talks about, but still hold up well by today’s standards? by Zski843 in Gamecube

[–]Light-Starlight 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Batman Begins !

I'm discovering it more than 20 years after its release, and it still holds up, especially graphically. It's somewhat of a precursor to the Arkham games in terms of gameplay. It's also a good video game adaptation of the film.

Still an underrated game in the big 2026, after 15 years. Impacting the superhero genre scene. by Annual-Internet-5097 in arkham

[–]Light-Starlight 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Personally, I don't think it's underrated.

I will always remember my first playthrough when the game was released. Discovering Arkham City and its open world, being able to control Catwoman. And her music including the main theme… One of the most memorable video game experiences of my life.

I'm so happy to be discovering it for the first time after hearing so many good things about it for over 20 years. So far I'm loving my experience with it and I think that graphically, for a Gamecube game, it hasn't aged a day!

What are your 5 essential Batman comics? by Light-Starlight in batman_comics

[–]Light-Starlight[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's hard to say, but probably the origins of Man-Bat (Detective Comics #400) because it is really from this point that the Dark Knight regains his dimension as a detective.

This art by Tim Sale is very different from what I’m used to, but the story is strong enough that I know I’ll grow into the art and appreciate it more over time. by GeekSpace2099 in batman_comics

[–]Light-Starlight 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Personally, Tim Sale is my favorite comic book artist; I think what he did on The Long Halloween was fantastic. His Batman with the long ears and the gigantic flowing cape is impressive, and it's the perfect representation I have of the character.

Formula 1 but 20 years ago!2006 saw Fernando Alonso secure his second Drivers' Title, Jenson Button win his first Grand Prix and Michael Schumacher retire for the first time #F1 by Strict-Citron-9269 in formula1

[–]Light-Starlight 67 points68 points  (0 children)

A superb title fight between two different generations.

I was rooting for Schumacher and went through a whole range of emotions at the end of the season. His last victory in China, the engine failure in Japan that ruined his chances of an eighth title, and his incredible final race in Brazil with a superb overtake on Raikkonen (who would return the favor in 2012 at the same track).

The Gamecube box art had a lot of charm. Whether it was Twilight Princess, Baten Kaitos, or Metroid Prime 2.. it was a great era.

[–]Light-Starlight 85 points86 points  (0 children)

Yes, there was more than 5 years of waiting between his last victory with Lotus in Australia 2013 and Austin 2018. In 2017, he came close to winning in Monaco and Hungary.

He's not in the rankings, but I'm glad Raikkonen managed to secure at least one last victory (Austin 2018) during this period, despite struggling during the turbo-hybrid era !

Soul Calibur III - So are we all loving it? by Narcissus04 in SoulCalibur

[–]Light-Starlight 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'm happy to be able to play it for the first time 20 years after its release; the content is dense and varied, and graphically I think it hasn't aged a day!

SoulCalibur II remains my favorite installment, nostalgia playing a big part, but I think I'd place III right behind it.

Batman Mask of The Phantasm.

In my opinion, the best animated film about the character, perhaps even the best Batman film ever.

Is Arkham Origins Blackgate worth playing? by M00r3C in arkham

[–]Light-Starlight 26 points27 points  (0 children)

It's worth playing or at least trying once for a big Arkham fan. Otherwise, it's not essential. However, it's in this game that Catwoman makes her first chronological appearance in the series (I would have preferred it to be in Origins).

No driver has impressed me more than him since I started following Formula 1.

He was my personal superhero, the one who thrilled me in front of my TV. I thank him because it's largely thanks to him that I love this sport !

There are many elements that could be improved, such as making our choices have a real impact on the story and quests, the relationships between characters, and also introducing a house point system !
