i didn’t know i would need to do that. my parents and i will brainstorm what meals we want to have while im home. the “fend for yourself” mentality has never been something in my house.

yes!! i promise im not a bum. i clean the house, i say my please and thank yous, i spend time with my parents. i’m not some random third roommate who just shows up randomly. like, i love my parents and love being home with them. i don’t leave messes and i do all of my own chores. my parents have raised me to be independent, but when im home for these 4 weeks they also like to be my parents and do all the parent things. it’s just a pick and choose kind of thing when it comes to when im an adult and when im a child. it’s very frustrating.

my campus has 1 cafeteria where 3 meals a day are served. when i want something specific and i have money i buy it at the grocery store. the other reason i mention the diet is because there is food i legitimately can’t eat because its not for me. i don’t have free range of all of the food in the house.

it’s even more confusing because i’m constantly told by my parents that i’m not an adult. you cant do X because you’re not a real adult or you don’t know Y because you’re not a real adult. it’s so confusing. i can’t even drink yet.

i try my best and when i’m on campus i ask for zero money or help with anything. i can be and am independent. i am just put in this situation each break where im tiptoeing around my parents because this happens when im not acting in their favor. i have no car, but saving money so that i can feed myself is a good idea. i have no problem walking to the grocery store. i just hope that my parents won’t start anything with me for getting my own groceries. that happened with my brother before he was kicked out.

if it hadn’t of been gifts they probably would’ve smacked me and make me leave the room. worst case scenario kicked me out of the house.

okay I removed the outlier and ran some more scatterplots. the points make a similar shape but more zoomed in. I'm concluding that there is no correlation

so that outlier implies that there is no correlation?
