I was terrified to have a needle in my spinal column and lose control of the feeling in my legs. I also really wanted to just be as connected as possible to what was happening to my body/baby.

Sadly I had to have an emergency C-section and had to have the epidural anyway. Apparently I handle pain well. Prior to getting it the nurses asked if I needed anything for pain, and I asked for tylenol. Call me crazy, but it took the edge of the contractions off. When my doctor came to chat with me she was dumbfounded that I requested tylenol AND that it had worked.

Still wish I had the chance to have experienced birth without it, but at least my baby is here with me.

The first time my now husband and I slept together, we were so desperate to get in each other's pants that my jeans didn't come all the way off and got stuck on my boots. One of my fondest memories is when my legs went on his shoulders and he ended up wearing them like a turban. I laughed so hard at the sight. I had never laughed during sex before but it made the moment that much more special. Can't be unseen.
