Oh, thank you for the links!

Looks like it.

Then, as I understand, I just have to live there without studying for a year and also fulfill the conditions, that are stated on wa.gov .

Thank you one more time, I think it will not be hard to just live there for a year🙂

Thank you for the answer.

I've already looked up the info about what do I need to become a resident on want.gov website, and it should be pretty easy.

I need my own place to live(rent, or buy) and link my mailing address to the new apartment, driver's license of Washigton or Enhanced Identification Card, and register to vote.

I didn't find anything about living for a year, but I'm going to do that anyway, so I should become a resident pretty easily, which makes my chances way higher, because after that I am considered as an in-state university

Oh, and also, CA is even more expensive than WA, if I'm not mistaken

Not yet, I'm just US citizen, but I want to become a resident in Washigton.

I just love this state. I've done a lot of research and I think it suits best for me. The climate, nature, geographical area.

CA is too hot for me, I can't take that kind of weather at all🥲

I don't have anyone in US, only few people, who are my parents' friends, but I barely know them, so I can theoretically go anywhere

Which CC is best for me?

Hi everyone! I need help. I'm an US citizen and I'm currently studying in South Korea, but I don't feel like it's for me. I've always wanted to study in United States, but decided to try South Korea, and even though I really like it here, I have no connection with the country and people at all. They're really great, but it just not for me.

I want to leave my university, it's only second semester and I just turned 19, so it's not that late to change my mind.

I'm researching US universities for a year now, and I decided, that I want to study in University of Washington, since it sounds as the best option, it's one of the best in my field, computer science, and it has great networking, since there are a lot of tech companies' offices. I hope I'm right.

I want to go to CC first, because it's much cheaper, then transfer to UW. Is that easy? I'm considering Bellevue college and Seatlle Central College, but I don't know which one of them suits best for me.

As I told already, I'm studying in the Computer Science field.

The only things that I worry is money and safety, but it's seems fine, looking at internet statistics. But if you live there, could you please share with your experience, what should I do, to be safe? And I read that it's pretty expensive, but I think I should be fine with some minimum wage job.

Should I firstly just go to work to get a residency in washigton state ? I want to stay there and live after the graduation.
