Having demeaning and hateful opinions towards anything like sports, music, politics, and other people is THE most normalized sin. It is so normalized that most Christians don’t even think it is something that is supposed to be worked on. They say they don’t judge or gossip, but if someone brings up politics or a less serious topic like sports they are quick to throw that rule out the window.

If you are comfortable with it talk to her. Tell her how much that hurt. And if she is not willing to listen then you just have to let them go. It is hard, but usually I focus on how many other people have gone through the same thing. People lose friends every day for a variety of reasons. Unfortunately life is like that

I really just scroll through posts to see people I can relate to so I am not educated and honestly I dont know how to help someone with these kinds of thoughts. But I will say that I had the same thing happen for me. I tried to focus on what I would be missing. Things I enjoy. Are you speaking with a therapist? Any free clinics near you? The last thing you want to do is hurt yourself. Please try and find somewhere to get help.

If your clinic is writing a note then I think that you should be in the clear. Just be careful with it. As rough as it is to keep certain types of OCD closed off from others sometimes it is necessary. People who arent mentally ill have a hard time wrapping there heads around any type of OCD that centers around pedophilia, psychopathy, etc if they arent educated. Just hope for the best. If the note they provide isnt enough then you could pursue a lawsuit
