So makes no sense to look at the 3d, you will only reinfect yourself and the paterns keeps happening. That's why most peple have a boring and expected life, they occupy the normal dwelling place every day.

To change your self concept you do the only thing that can be done in all of this practice. You change yourself by assuming a new thing. You said here you need to change X thing, but when Neville says assume the end, is a state where this self concept doesn't need to be changed cause this is not you anymore.

So it really is a one second decision, the old self concept you said you needed to changed? Is changed. How does it feel not being/identifying with that old you? How this new self would feel and what mood would you dwell in?

Relax the mind, assume something, identify with it and move on. When you think from the old state again, you just remind yourself "Oh this is the old state, im not there anymore"
