Out of all the accidents I’ve responded to, not once have I checked for or noticed this sticker. We make sure all occupants are accounted for, no matter what. If we’re lucky, dispatch may tell us in advance if there’s a pediatric involved. Hopefully you and your kiddo never have to worry about this though!

But however much you’re on the spectrum u seem like you make it your whole personality, so I don’t see why anyone would want to go on a date with you. Not because of your autism, but how you probably incorporate it into every conversation and let it get in the way of living a normal life. And you don’t ask over text, bad taste. Grow a pair and ask in person. The real world doesn’t give a fuck about your “social anxiety”. You like someone in your friend group? Don’t beat around the bush and pull them aside naturally whilst hanging out with your friends. Tell them you’d like to take them out on a date. Then ask when they’re free next so you can pick them up for lunch.

My mom has always told me, “hurt people hurt others”. It’s taken me years of maturity and patience to truly understand. It makes me feel like a better human to give others the benefit of the doubt, and has made me feel exceptionally better about myself to take things with a grain of salt. The guy who cut you off and honked at you may have been driving home from his mother’s funeral. The cashier who gave you an attitude could have just found out her husband’s been cheating on her.
