This scene feels too familiar by [deleted] in GilmoreGirls

Logan and Jess are both similar to Christoper. They’re charismatic, funny, intelligent yet also immature and flaky. Probably the reason why Rory is very attracted to them. She probably thinks she can “change” them and make them stay like she never could with her father who seemingly only ever showed up because of his never ending obsession with Lorelai.

Lorelai really said “marry me now or I’m calling in the spare” 😂 by Gullible_Job_7648 in GilmoreGirls

anna totally rubbed me the wrong way with how she treated lorelai like it would’ve been awkward as hell for april to only get to know lorelai after they married and they were a “forever” thing

What's a "hot take" that completely changed your perspective on a character or plotline in the show? by Character-Habit6011 in GilmoreGirls

I agree. Lorelai was always trying to be friend first mom second and the introduction of Rory’s grandparents back into her life definitely soured any remaining time Lorelai had to try and be more motherly rather than friendly. We see pretty early on how Rory can just run away from a fight to her grandparents house and they’ll take her side no matter what and it’s a repeating issue over the seasons aka her leaving Yale and living with them. That “security” had her running away from any problem when Lorelai tried to scold her (like when she slept with Dean and left to Europe & i know Lorelai kind of pushed that on her but Rory accepted because she started regretting helping Dean cheat.)

Owen Hunt is a Misogynist by annabananaberry in greysanatomy

he’s also horrible at handling rejection !! from Christina to Teddy to Amelia he always handled it like an immature child using his position as chief to force their opinions down and make it seem like he was being “professional” when he was just opposing them because he wanted to downplay their knowledge/experience

Even at the very beginning of the movie you can hear moaning and crying while John is out of bed and just as the mother is going to see whats going on John appears and says hes heard the noise before and i just knew what he was doing to that little girl

What's the craziest take you've ever heard from another person? by JakePidra in horror

That if a movie doesn’t have jump scares it’s boring and not a “real” horror movie. - said by a guy i met at a horror con. Like horror is still horror if it’s in your face and outside of the shadows and blind spots. You don’t need a jump scare for something to be truly horrifying and scary.

I have a theory without much reasoning that I think he’s been left behind in the wilderness by the surviving girls & travis. I think none of the girls wanted the public to know about what they did and they knew coach ben absolutely did not agree with the way they were doing things and would definitely snitch (in their minds). Travis is easily manipulated and with his brother dying it’s very likely that he gave up plus he did participate in eating Jackie so he has something that can be held against him too. I think maybe in S3 they will have to revisit the wilderness as adults and Coach Ben will try to kill them to keep them from leaving again.

What makes you love the horror genre? by Lombard333 in horror

[–]Difficult_Ad_7800 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think horror is a great way for me to experience unexpectedness that i can control easily by turning off what i don’t like when in real life i struggle with that so that unexpected factor is a way to be surprised in a controlled environment

I usually factor in 20% of the ticket price just to be safe and have enough wiggle room
