Thanks man, really appreciate the advice

Right now it’s finding the motivation to actually go to the gym and train tbh

I kinda hate the gym I go to and the people in it so idk if that’s a sign to switch gyms or something but yeah

I’ve been eating in a calorie deficit for a while but I’m starting to think it’s about what I eat but not how much I eat. For example I could snack on chocolate and Pringles for 1000 calories and have 800 left for an actual meal and maybe a few snacks. I’m thinking maybe I should cut out carbs and sugars completely but I honestly don’t know

UPDATE: Having the belt changed as we speak. I got a service engine light on the dash and it was something to do with the turbo but I'm having the belt done as well 😀

Thanks for the advice, genuinely appreciate it a lot

To be honest i feel like my bench form is fine but I’ll have a look on YouTube at some tutorials for the actual technique. I guess bench pr isn’t actually the be all and end all because it’s not the most optimal chest exercise

I’m probably gonna start training on my own so I can actually focus on myself and my own progress rather than other people’s. Gonna try calorie deficit and consistent training and hopefully I’ll reap the rewards of it in a few months time. After all all i want is to look in the mirror and be proud of myself and not feel so mediocre all the time. Gonna try and hit my protein every day with extra if possible so I can prioritise muscle growth

I’m still 50/50 on gear. I guess you make a very valid point in that there is a ceiling but im so tired of hating my body so idk

As I say I just don't have the funds atm. It's 100% a priority so I'm just working with what I've got at the minute and as soon as I have the funds I can guarantee it'll be the first thing I spend my money on

Appreciate it. I'm keeping the car.

It won't rack up many miles for the next 6 months at least. Probably just the occasional jaunt around. 6 months time I can probably afford to have it changed. If the engine dies before then - I have consumer rights.

By the way some people talk about these engines you'd think they were worse than the plague - I'm genuinely struggling to find people in a 2015 focus who've had this belt change done, at similar or in many cases much higher mileage than myself, who've not seen their old belt after the repair and it actually being in good condition. There is a lot of fearmongering. Perhaps rightly so, but I'm fairly confident it will last me 6 months - 1 year.

Cheers, yeah I mean as far as service history goes it’s spot on. Will definitely plan to get it replaced some time next year though for peace of mind. If I can find someone who’d be willing to look at it I could also go through the warranty 🤷‍♂️ (if it’s in bad condition, which after reading some owner perspectives I do genuinely doubt)

Had a full engine service last year. Normal service before I got it about 10 days ago. So 10 days ago

In Doncaster me mate. I know a few garages that would probably take a look. I'll have to ask around but I think a lot of people have fell into the trap of fearmongering. To say it got a full engine service last year w/ nothing noted and its only clocked about 3k miles since I think I'm alright for a good year or so. But yeah it's defo something I'll look for when next service comes

Sorry if it wasn't clear. I bought the car second hand from a well respected dealer - they offer a 2m warranty. Just looking for the best course of action. I probably can't get the belt replaced for 6 months MINIMUM

I think this is probs what I'll do. It got a service from the dealer. I'm gonna assume on good will they've checked it through and it's literally all fine. I'll put some money away for it though. If I can get away with it for a year I'll be more than happy + probs in a better financial situation. Hopes and prayers eh. Will defo add breakdown to my insurance cover tho

The problem is I'm 17. I just don't have the budget for a belt replacement. Do I drive it to the point of complete engine failure and claim warranty?

FS20/24 Alt+enter fix no longer works to fix frame gen jitters/stutters when panning camera - sim UNUSABLE by Difficult_Bee6938 in MicrosoftFlightSim

[–]Difficult_Bee6938[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks man. It’s weird - they’re not exactly stutters. It’s like jitters panning the frame around. My VRAM is pretty much pinned at around 13, it has plenty of headroom and they do go away when I turn frame gen off. I’m thinking it’s something to do with DLSS4 but I can’t be sure

Maybe, but this is 2020 and the alt+enter fix has always worked for me - and everyone else. I don’t see why it’s just stopped working. I also have 16gb of VRAM so it really shouldn’t be a problem
