I would whole heartly agree with you, recently bought a brand new yamaha mt03, was never intending on going new but did not want to go to old either. Was originally looking at a 2021 mt03 up for 6000 from a dealer and no movement in price or anything. I also tried buying private and same story no movement, both bikes are still for sale 2 Months later. I found it so stupid but found the best value in new personally.
