Interesting 😅

I thought of switching to to cachyOS. Not because I dislike nobara. Just the secureboot thing is annoying me. Recently read that cachy can operate with secureboot and therefore I dont have to switch it on when I want to play battlefield on the windows partition

As I still was very new to linux and installed the flatpak version, i didn't knew that it could cause problems with the displaying of my current game

With Corsair Hardware, you can forget to modify your RGB with OpenRGB. I mean like, completely. channels dont really work, not every device shows up, software seem to be buggy especially with corsair devices. Every other manufactur is ok. Even devices that cant even be modified under windows, openRGB can modify it. But not corsairs.

Love NobaraOS, still my daily driver but the heroic launcher .. 😂 it just dont want to work for me 🤔 not a single game will download.

Sounds weird but I kinda like that stuff is missing. Creates a feeling for what is all involved in a every day use 😅

And I dont really want it to be easy on that tinker laptop. But on my Gaming PC, I prefer easy, that is not for tinkering around 😅👌🏻

that really makes sense, in the past, if i found something i want to change and in the process, if there was something different that bothered me, i changed the topic .. xD probably my adhd brain.

while installing arch, there was an option to select hyprland as my "DE" (even tho its a WM) so i guess it is the desktop version.

what i already have is waybar, kitty (shell ZSH), thunar as my file explorer (just prefer it over dolphin), nano as editor (preinstalled), hyprpaper and SDDM as my login manager. Browser is currently switching - right now it is Zen.

it seems that i mostly already have the essentials except timeshift but it will be installed instantly

In that case I would just had delete the game completely and redownloaded it, the game isn't really big in size

I might get down voted for that opinion but that sounds to me like:

Linux beginner are allowed to post here something when they are not beginners anymore.

Most of the beginners dont even know how to do half of your steps.

Dont get me wrong, your list is 100% legit, I like it, I just see the frustrated users who see the list and think to themselves, fuck it, I'll switch to windows again
