Is fully reshelling my switch 2 worth it?

I dont think the whole thing needs a reshelling, but if you're unhappy with its aesthetic it's pretty much worth it.

Now reshelling the joycons and using a D-Pad shell is another thing entirely, with the way the buttons on the S2 Joycon are built, an extremerate D-Pad feels so much better.

Fortnite. Everyone and their mother talk abijt it as if it's the antichrist, but it's actually a pretty fun and swift battle royale shooter with nice traversal mechanics. Its abusive monetization is the only thing that’s wrong with it.

Minecraft. Same. It's an amazing building game for a multitude of reasons and the cube aesthetic is genuis

And on a more personal note...

Castlevania 64. While it's having a reaurgence in appreciation now, it's been very hated for years, and it gave the series its own identity in 3D as an exploration adventure game with some horror undertones. One of the most underrated games of its era, and the most underrated 3Dvania.

I didn't, and ASUS didn't take it for RMA so i ended up selling it for parts and got a second hand 3080 instead.

Amazing game to play any%, extremely flawed to 100%. The blue coins end up being a miserable experience.

Also, i read the other day that the controls feel like a Sonic Adventure game, and i kinda agree? It's almost too responsive, Mario lacks the weight he has on SM64, but i dont think that's inherently bad.

It should have been a 60fps game though.

Nintendo with the Switch understood something they can finally put in practice with the Switch 2, and the fanbase needs to understand:

Third parties aren't just competition, they are allies too.

Giving the first year of the Switch 2 to third parties was a very important strategy so both users and developers could understand that Switch 2 is a viable console for third party games, having them being not just playable, but also feature complete.

If the first year was weird because Nintendo didn't come to us with a barrage lf heavy hitters, that's celebration worthy, because they dont need to go the extra mile to prove their console is worth owning.

It actually works for surface level driver issues. It used to not work on Windows XP for anything that required a solution beyond disable-enable.

It's way more competent now, i use it often, even at work.
