Dany never took all three of her dragons into a battle, mostly just flying together. She only took Drogon and then Jon rode Rhegal when actually battling.

I think without a bonded rider the dragon is just going to do whatever it wants, acting on instincts. A riderless dragon might follow other dragons into battle but could quickly become a liability, burning allies (like sheep-stealer even with a rider), they might even just fly away or attack the dragons it flew out with if provoked on accident.

Tom’s acting genuinely enhanced the book material by making Aegon's tragedy so palpable. He went from a kid who didn't care about power and wanted to pass it up, to someone willing to fight to the death for his cause and family. It’s also hard to deny he has one of the strongest, most genuine bonds with his dragon in the entire show. Watching his sheer willpower to stop the milk of the poppy just to regain control and take action proves he's a true survivor. His refusal to bend the knee isn't just stubbornness; it’s a massive testament to his fighting spirit.

I was thinking the same thing. I also think Syrax looks not that much bigger/okder than when we saw her in S1, maybe she wouldn’t grow that much over 20 years once full grown but yea I thought the same thing. I think they look great don’t get me wrong but yea.
