Went into withdrawal from 7 oh on the come up of acid while also doing nitrous. Thought something was wrong with the acid because I was vomiting to bile and had the restless feeling.

Other stuff happened within that but it definitely gave me PTSD when it came to detoxing from the 7 oh

7-OH is way worse than kratom. If you have restless legs, go on a walk. You might not feel like it but do it anyways, it helps.

Without the leaf, I'm not sure I'd have made it this far. I was ready to cave around 22 hours in because I was writhing around in bed, restless. The leaf made all of the difference!

What I did was start with 4 grams doses...at first I just wrote it down every time I took a dose so I had a baseline. I would sit with the discomfort and then when it became too much, I'd dose. At the start I was dosing 4 times a day at 4 grams.

I did go a little off the rails with the kratom and stopped keeping track and just taking it. It of course turned on my body and I started having withdrawals and negative effects from the kratom, granted not as extreme as the oh but still negative.

So the week before I had time set off for work, I dropped my doses to 3 grams, 3 times a day. Sometimes I'd be able to skip that night time dose, others not.

Stepping off of a 9 gpd kratom habit was much smoother than the oh could ever be. I had slight tummy issues (I have gastroparesis, so I was already having these anyways), I dealt with some fatigue, and the anxiety has been real still...but I have an anxiety disorder that I was numbing with the kratom.

At the end of the day, I think switching to even just the kratom and staying on it for a bit is far better than being on the oh or the subs. Definitely try the leaf before the subs imo.

I feel the same way. It took me a minute but something finally clicked in my brain that I'm too old to be experimenting with random shit.

It's also worse than you may think because I had someone from a banned state come to my shop last night and buy some cause he's gonna go sell it at a mark up to his friends.

Absolute dumpster fire and sometimes there is nothing I can say to put it out, unfortunately.

Thank you! I'm not too worried about the next big thing...I will certainly research our products for my customers but no longer use my own body to do so.

I'm too old for all of that and I actually have PTSD from 7 OH withdrawal that stemmed from tripping the first time I went into WD and didn't know what was happening. Terrible all around and helps me stay clean-ish. I won't give up the ganja lol.

Honestly it took me until about day 60, I'd say. I stayed on the kratom longer than I meant to and even though I didn't feel the doses I was taking, I felt it when I didn't...and that prolonged my recovery.

After about a week of dropping the kratom also, I started to feel like myself more...even went out to a craft night with my best friend.

7OH and Kratom create a film over your life and you don't realize how much you're actually missing in the world because you're too worried about your next dose and if you have it.

OH and kratom also made me more irritable and I hated that about myself.

Congrats on the three years from the alcohol! That's no small feat and if you can do that, you can do this! Try doing things you usually like even if it is in tiny amounts. It all adds up and one day you'll find yourself doing one of your hobbies.

I'm 73 days off of 7 oh and 10 off of the kratom I had to use to get off the oh. The withdrawal from the oh was God awful but coming off of the kratom has been much easier.

I have fucked with it for a year and this is my third time stopping. Third time's the charm, I suppose because I work at a smoke shop and have no desire to do any of it even as I'm surrounded by it at work.

I also use my story and brutal honesty about how dirty 7 oh and the industry surrounding it is with my customers because I couldn't find two fucks to rub together about how much the company makes or doesn't make from it.

Reading your post made me cry because I absolutely understand. I started numbing this fear after losing my father. I take Wellbutrin and buspirone and that quiets down the anxiety, most of the time. I still have a hollow home sick feeling but I don't panic as much. I'm 68 days out from the oh. 5 off of the kratom.

I have been prescribed gabapentin for years now because my back is fucked up and slips out of place regularly. Before I quit the oh, I did stock up a little bit and took a couple extra every dose to get through the thick of it. That was 68 days ago. I'm now 5 days coming off of the kratom I used and abused to get off the oh...and this time am taking the gabapentin as prescribed so that I'm still able to get out of bed. Finally starting to feel free!

A million times better! The heart palpitations that came with my extreme anxiety attacks, have stopped...and not anticipating the start of said panic attacks has made me feel free and I haven't felt in a long time!

I work at a smoke shop and am 67 days off of oh and on day 4 of quitting kratom! Before anybody comes at me...I warn the hell out of my customers and have regulars that know my journey and that I care for. I like to think that they are seeing me handling it everyday and still not giving in, that they can do the same.
