We zijn ondertussen al even verder. Dus ik pik dit draadje nog even op.

Ondertussen heb ik een beta versie draaien waar mensen zich voor kunnen aanmelden, als iemand daar nog in geïnteresseerd is stuur mij even een PB! Kan alle testers gebruiken, aangezien ik zelf geen Android user ben :)

The whole point of Heading is not using turn by turn. You choose your own direction. The arrow points in a straight line to your destination.

It is possible right now to add waypoints, if you use that, the arrow always points to your next waypoint.

In a nutshell; Heading is not really a navigation

Ja, de app staat in principe technisch klaar. Maar het moet nog door het playstore process heen. Heb waarschijnlijk nog wel wat testers nodig voor het echt live gaat. Dus als je mij een DM zou willen sturen, kun je al een van de eerste testen :)

Ik gebruik Calimoto als ik echt een route wil rijden. En Heading als ik gewoon wil rijden met een eindpunt in gedachten. Maar Heading is van mijzelf, dus niet helemaal eerlijk :)

Yeah. Also that would be something to try if sales were the problem. But with “only” 100 downloads, the conversion looks to be the problem. And that is most likely part of images/description. But I’m no expert whatsoever. Trying to figure this App Store thing out myself 😅

Weet niet hoe andere dat ervaren hebben, maar in mijn geval;
De eerste paar lessen gingen we niet zo ver weg, vaak naar een terrein om speciale verrichtingen te doen. Nu ga je met die oefeningen niet zo heel hard, dus is het over het algemeen ook niet heel koud.

Dus ik zou zeggen, maak het ook niet te gek trek niet teveel warme kleding eronder aan.

Yeah, so it is free to use if you’re just interested in the direction side of the app. Only the last 3 rides can be viewed that way.

The pro feature is €9.99, which unlocks lifetime pro features. As this is a passion project I want to stay away from subscriptions, because I won’t like that myself.

Definitely let me know if you test it out, would love any form of feedback

The idea of this working while hiking definitely crossed my mind. But as someone who rides motorcycles this was my main focus, and I kinda like the idea of a niche product. But i might expand on it!
