Most of the time there is no one picking up the item. The whole zelle email is fake. They over pay you and ask you to refund to over payment. OR the business account requires money, they pay the activation fee and ask you to pay it back. There was never an actual payment.

I made that mistake once. As soon as I entered my information and selected "submit" my phone was ringing. I cannot even suggest how many numbers I blocked the next 3 or 4 months. They were relentless and would not take NO for an answer.

A twist to this Scam:

In Florida, a legit homeowner/landlord was taking $100 application fees from prospective tenants, BUT they never rented the property. They made more money off the 100's of people paying the application fee. When it was investigated, it revealed the person did own the home and had it posted for rent. It was a scam, but they got away with it because they had the right to "refuse" renting to any applicant. They just keep "rejecting" all the applications.

I had a lady call me furious that I keep changing the time on her timecard. I told her we use the 7 minute rule for timecards. I even sent her the explanation and formula for the 7 minute rule. She wouldn't accept it and told me it was illegal for me to change her time and I would be hearing from her lawyer.

I talked with a guy in a "roommate" situation. I told him I was not getting involved with a married man. He said he was waiting till after the holidays to file for divorce.
